Lyme disease is actually treatable if caught early. But it's hard to diagnose. Ren went 7yrs with it destroying his body. That long will cause lots of irreversible damage

@@kundenservice3100 Lyme Disease is an "autoimmune problem" which causes other health problems (called comorbidities). Going years without treatment can cause major issues including death if left untreated too long so he's literally been fighting for his life. He has also endured a level of suffering most people are lucky enough to never have to experience which has left it's own emotional scars that are part of what makes his art so good. I have heard this song over 70 times now. I STILL bob and weave to the beat every time! "Bones are the home where the devil rests" (Lymes disease attacked his bones). "I watched him tie a rope and jump". He cried, begged, pleaded, and eventually gave up on and curse his god/god's (they were dead to him). He then, bowed to his new god (his disease) and begged for mercy..... His bed was both a "tomb" and a "womb"; that births new problems and ailments... Edit: As for a "Ren tour". Everyone changes their minds but, Ren said in an interview, "with his health and treatment programs tours are a bit out of the question". The way he said it, (to me) sounded like he wasn't hugely interested in a major tour.

Don’t forget that Ren was misdiagnosed for a long time, and he had auto immune disease and psychosis, partly due to the misdiagnosis

Thank you, Dr. Dave and Dr. Ash for your discussion at the beginning of this video 😂 Ren is a genius. It amazes me how he can take something so very personal and make it universal. Not to mention the music he makes. This track alone is a rollercoaster. So good. Insofar as Ren touring, I'm not a betting man, but my money is on him playing Glastonbury this year. He was invited last year but was undergoing treatment in Canada, and while he's back in Canada now, I believe it's only through spring and then he'll be back in the UK.

On a property I had in Arkansas there were cedar trees next to the house and they were full of ticks. Every time you had to walk under one you were sure to have ticks on you. But those were dog ticks, not ones known to carry Lyme disease. However, I had a cousin who went hiking through the woods and had a deer tick attach to him. He got Lyme disease and nearly died from it. I've also had an aunt who got Lyme disease from a deer tick and was hospitalized for about a week. Nasty little buggers!

I live in Northern Wisconsin on 100 acres of land. 90% woods. It is in certain months the nymph (second or third stage of development) deer tick (only about 30%) carry the lymes disease. We look for it right away and still miss them and look for the bull-eye where you have been bit. A round of antibiotics from the doctor and you usually recover. Many have missed it and paid with a miserable life, some worse than others. Some people know and some people don't but those ticks were released around the world back into the forests and woods. The military lab complexes were playing in the labs up to no good and were weaponizing certain ticks. Some tick bites cause the person to become sick and can't eat meat without becoming ill, forgot the name of that one.

I like that Ren is shinning a light on how very serious autoimmune issues can be. I, myself, have rheumatoid arthritis (another autoimmune disease) and went undiagnosed for over 40 years... I wound up having a heart attack at age 42 before finding out that my inflammation (from the arthritis issue) was so bad I was on the verge of septicemia . I now have 2 stents in my heart but am lucky to be alive and getting treated finally. I'm glad Ren didn't have to go so long before getting help because the world needs more artists like him imo.

Graphically it is intense... it imposes itself, it enters through the eyes without asking for permission imposing itself through the color and brightness of the graphics and typographic size, and delivers the message without excuses... Lyme disease can be effectively treated if it's caught soon enough. Ren's became so bad because he was misdiagnosed, and lived so many years with it not being treated properly.

Nice reaction, I'm sure he will tour the UK first when he feels good enough...you lucky dogs. Let's hope he has enough energy in the tank to take a tour through the US. I don't know how many concerts are in him, but if he comes within 500 miles of my town, I'm there. Anywhere in the Midwest I will be there.....road trip, I have lots of Ren music including his collabs, bands and friends. Price is no option. I just need a hotel room for the night and a few tanks of gas and money for concert merch.

Quick and intense suffering gets rid of hiccups, in a way. Dave is sort of on it. When I used to drink too much and get hiccups the next day, I would solve them by either inhaling to max capacity, or exhaling until empty, and then holding one of those states until I hit panic mode, and absolutely HAD to release my breath. It's a method of ridding your stomach of trapped air. Worked like a charm, and made me cut my drinking down to less than a third of what it was.

I approcah stopping hiccups from both directions. I take a deep breath and hold it for the physical side of things, but I also focus on not hiccuping. It never fails unless I have had a few drinks (which is rare), I am less able to focus and it takes a few attempts. Sober, I stop them first time every time.

It’s possible to stop sneezes and hic ups….. and 100% you can slow or increase your heart rate, maybe not by heaps but definitely enough to notice….. meditate enough….. if I have done it anyone can do it

I don't know if anyone ever told you that you don't have to pause a Ren video. Ren does not copyright claim against reactors viewing his videos. If KZfaq automatically flags it, then just contest it and Ren will release it. If you want to pause, that's one thing, but just know you don't have to (not required).

Controlling the hiccup is psychological. I can choose if I want to continue hiccups or not, but I have the hicc-burp so usually stamp it down in 2 or 3 max.

If you are treated soon enough w/a course of antibiotics when bitten by a tick with lyme disease, it's easy to cure. But a lot of people don't realize they have been bitten until it is too late. There is often a strange bullseye-shaped rash that results from being bitten by a tick with lyme disease that can be a clue. I got a bullseye rash on my arm once, but wasn't aware of being bitten, so the doctor just gave me a course of antibiotics anyway, just in case The antibiotics were simple & wouldn't hurt me if it weren't lyme, but if it was it would be bad if untreated. (That was in the early days of awareness of lyme disease, & before there was a test. I think they have one these days.)

I believe that Limes disease can be cured quickly with antibiotics but it went misdiagnosed with Ren for years

petter use twezers than to burn them, when distressed enough the tik will spit back the blood wisch couses most of the infections. when infected you will likly grow one or more red rings around the bite site, even then going to a docter is adviseble, altho the madication is not nice and does not alwais work. if after weeks or months the rings disepair by them self you will have a hard time finding any one even to try and help you. like ren you will probebly need special genterepy.

I can slow my Heart Rate down =) I can also mentally make Hiccups go away by forcing my Brain to relax my Diaphram =) Then again I have been studying Meditation and Breath Control for years because a bad right lung

red and black, most infamous combination of those colors might be the Nazi party flag (although it also has white in it). In this case there's no direct relation (could have a subconscious one). I think the colors represent feeling here, red for pain and suffering, black for despair and all that the darkness archetype encompasses.

My problem with this song is its a list of complaints. We all have our issues yeah ren is sick cause of physical ailments that cause mental illness, but take a step into my mind for a second. Imagine being tormented by being bombed and tormented by lives you saw being taken daily cause your contry thinks its right. Taking a life is a hard place to come back from......
