Couple of little fun facts: 1.) Dang dang was written by Solar, Moonbyul, and Hwasa and it was originally intended to be the title track for Yellow Flower. Instead (due to a back injury I believe Solar had) it was changed to be Starry Night 2.) The lyrics “Hey shy boy come here shy boy” were changed to “hey shy girl come here shy girl” in their music core performance apparently! 3.) From what I’ve read/heard, the mv for Save Me was supposed to be recorded outside but due to heavy rain on the set it was moved inside. I believe both members expressed their disappointment that the mv wasn’t done as well as they wanted it to be. Also the last part of the MV was part of the intro track for the new album!

@@_SxlarMMM619_ Oh wow. I didn't realize they got all the way to choreo. I thought the song was just one of the top finalists. I'd love to know what the mamamoo version of this song would have been. It's so perfect as it is, it's hard to imagine any other version.

@@thorstenbrandt6256 it was originally shy boy which is the mv version cause RBW wanted it to be shy boy. But solar and moonbyul didn't like to specify gender in their songs and knowing the majority of their Fandom are girls, they went to the recording studio in their company to change it last minute for music shows. But the mv will still be shy boy

they also changed the "shy boy" to "shy girl" in yesterday?'s live broadcast after solar talked on bubble about how she was sorry for the lyrics since "there are shy girls too" 😂😂

Fun fact.. this song was written by Solar, Byul and Hwasa and originally it would be part of Mamamoo's 4 Seasons Project.

It was indeed very Mamamoo cause it was supposed to be a title in their 4S4C project, Yellow Flower, but then got replaced by Starry Night due to various issues + Solar's slipped disc. Hwasa also participated in the lyrics of Dang Dang! Also, their live stages are awesome!!! They changed the lyrics into "Hey shy girl" for the stage today, as well as Inkigayo tomorrow! AND AND AND... CAN'T WAIT FOR YOUR REACTION TO THEIR 1THEK SUIT DANCE!!!!! IT IS A MUSTTTTTTT WATCHHHHH!!!!!!

Always love your reactions to Mamamoo content. Dangdang is such a fun song. Funny you said it was very Mamamoo. They revealed in a recent interview that Dangdang was actually a song written a long time ago and was supposed to be the title track for Mamamoo's Yellow Flower album (instead of Starry Night). However, because of Solar's disc issue at the time, they went with Starry Night instead as the choreo was easier to manage. It blows my mind that the iconic Starry Night was a replacement song. Moonbyul, Solar and Hwasa all took part if writing the lyrics of Dangdang. The choreo for this is even more fun and amazing in their live performances, not to mention their suit dance on 1thek which is... well you can imagine. Hope to see your reactions to those, as well as to the other tracks which are all very good as well.

Yaaay, I was waiting for your reaction! I love that in the two albums we got divorce as pre-release (chico malo, save me) and lovey dovey (ggbb, dangdang) for tt. The beginning of dangdang and the end is actually the intro of the album, that's why it sounds different. And for the choreo, amazing news for you: they did the suit dance on 1thek for dangdang and it's DEADLY 🥰

I really recommend checking out pink fantasy they have a more rock concept like dreamcatcher. Their song poison is their best song in my opinion. And they re so underrated

Solar and Moonbyul are really giving us a lot this year. 2 mini albums, covers. Plus Solar did that sk8ter boy cover. They both sound so perfect, but Solar she is so perfect because I am a simp. Those braids lol and the hat on Moonbyul. I dont know how these two can pull of super cute at their age in DangDang and GGBB etc. Amazing. Two rabbits is the intro song on the album
