Breaking the fourth wall is when an actor "stops acting" for a moment and acknowledges the camera to react to something or relay information to the audience. In this case he's not technically an actor but he's stopping to acknowledge the camera to show his reaction to the audience.

You can't follow the drawing because your back has large receptive fields so it can't send sensory information back to the brain as well as your hand wich has a smaller receptive feild.
