My husband has read all of my fanfictions, even helped me out in some. We laughed a lot together over it and worked out some great stories. He knows his value, knows how I feel about him and has a healthy self-esteem, he has never been jelous of my character-crushes or fandoms I have been into, and I am also not worried about him being into, like, Eva Green. Whoever feels intimidated by fiction or fandoms would benefit from therapy for sure in my opinion. It is a good thing to love yourself enough to not worry about these things. Cheers

Eh. People are entitled to feeling uncomfortable by their partner's overly-moderate use of consuming pornographic material about a real person. I personally don't know how I would feel about my partner getting off at the graphic stimulation and description of being with their celebrity crush. However, it's valid if some are comfortable with that, and if some aren't. Individual's boundaries aren't a monolith and we shouldn't judge unless necessary since we all have our own boundaries ourselves and don't all appreciate certain things. The important take away is that (from what we saw) he didn't exactly place blame or anger, just discomfort and awkwardness. The second being we should all be aware of the how compatible us and our partners' boundaries are. It is clear their expectations of what they are comfortable with differ, and hopefully they will work that out.

Anyways, he might not be jealous. That's a conclusion that came about because she mentioned she perceives him as getting jealous over stupid things. It could be feeling weird that your partner is into the unconsented sexual exploitation of a real person. Let's not pretend that there isn't a ethical obstacle presented when, we'll use girls as an example, female celebrities constantly have to deal with knowing their male fan base consumes and masturbates at explicit content that fantasies about their naked body parts, sexual interactions, how it feels to have sex with them, etc. Is that okay? Is it okay because it's a male celebrity, say Harry Styles? His reservation over that is also valid when you look at it from that perspective.

Same people who shame others who do not want to be with someone because they have a high body count. This is just one example of how society deems one of being "insecure". Influence such as film and marketing portray it is normal to lust over another when already in a relationship. Look up sociosexual orientation it explains how "insecurity" is not a present factor when it comes to a person's beliefs that help determine the suitableness of a partner. He has every right to be uncomfortable from what he had uncovered. Of course everyone will feel sorry for the soft spoken girl who is no longer with her ex-boyfriend that was made to look like he was a "bad guy" although we know NOTHING about him. For all we know the boyfriend could of ended things. And of course the ol' freudian slip. That text to the mother really did say alot.
