So glad you enjoyed the video! We’d love it if you would subscribe! You are gonna LOVE the room. It was not loud and it did not feel unsafe at all. Still felt private. We loved the ground floor because it was convenient to enter and exit the room through the patio. We didn’t use our regular door at all. I would totally try and get the first floor if I went back. I’ve never stayed on the top floors, but I have heard they feel more private on the patio, plus they might have better views of the ocean since it’s higher and possible above some of the trees. Whether you get the ground floor or higher floor, you won’t be disappointed! Have an amazing time!

The couples massage does cost extra. However, our first trip it was included through a package with Costco. Not sure if they still do this, but it is worth checking out, or asking your travel agent.

The beach is unbelievable. You won’t be disappointed by this beach. We did not use the Tennis courts but did other activities around them. They look great, there is a smoothie bar (included) right next to them. Highly recommend!

The scuba class only took about 1.5 hours. We were told to meet at the scuba shop at 7am and by 8:30 we were getting ready to jump on a boat with the scuba professionals. Make sure you sign up the day in advance. Do not do it on your last day at the resort - you have to wait 18 hours to fly in an airplane after going Scuba Diving. Have fun!

The "Discover Scuba" course which occurs in one of the resort pools is included with your stay. Just book one day in advance. All scuba gear is included. But if you want to go out to the reef on the boat and into the actual ocean, It costs an extra $50. We were probably underwater on this dive for about 30 to 40 minutes. You can also pay an extra $10 for a wet suit rental, but it is not required. The suit is recommended because of sea life in the water that might irritate or sting the skin. The water is warm, so some people wore a water shirt instead. For the Spa/Massage, it is not included in our stay this time. However, there are some booking agents that have some special deals that include spa treatment with the booking - I know at one point, Costco Travel did a free Spa Treatment when you booked through them - but I am not sure if they still do it. The spa treatments start at around $100-ish. Have fun!

We’ve been there twice and there was no issues with service. Quite the opposite in my experience. The Jamaican culture is definitely relaxed, so I can see how some people may misinterpret that demeanor. But I felt each person I interacted with treated my wife and I with kindness and respect. Some staff went out of their way to smile, or make sure we felt special. Neither of us could think of anything negative to report. I hope you have a great trip! Let me know how it goes!

Our favorite thing about this resort is the beach. From what I have read and heard it is one of the best in Jamaica. We also loved the scuba experience, but that’s not for everyone. Our least favorite thing is probably the distance from the airport. It is probably about 1.5 hours of winding road. The plus side to this drive is the scenery, ocean views, and local views of the island. While every place has its positives and negatives, in my opinion this place is a gem. you should book here. I don’t think you will be disappointed :)

The price was around $125 for a 1 hour massage. And it was $250 for a couples massage. If you booked with a travel agent, ask them if there is any promotional deals you can take advantage of by adding it to your trip now. Several years ago when we booked with Costco Travel the package included a free massage. Have fun!

We always felt safe. As soon as you walk past airport security you will wait in a "Couples" private lounge inside the airport. Then you will be escorted to a private bus that will take you within the resort gates. From there you are completely isolated and safe from the crime and concerns of the city. You will feel completely safe. If you decide to leave the resort to shop or eat then you will probably feel unsafe. We never felt any reason to leave the actual resort. There is plenty to do and our time was filled with all the activities there. You should book it! You will have a great time :)
