Was hoping to see how the backhand side was addressed through the mid-court area. Garry alluded to hip rotation "stalling" movement, but if you don't do it on the backhand side you lose reach. Or is he saying if you can't shuffle and reach the ball you should take the ball in the back corner rather than risk over-committing (like I tend to do a lot haha)

I'm looking for instructional video that demonstrates movement to and from the ball with an opponent in the court at game tempo. Not straight back to the center. If you hit a straight drop - off a boast or loose ball in the middle - to a front corner while your opponent is behind you but you don't arc back to the center then you risk forcing a Let or worse preventing the opponent moving to the ball thus getting a stroke against you for preventing his direct access to the ball. The same principle applies to straight drives from the back corners. Arc out so opponent can move directly to your shot in the corner. If not you will be in his way. I have yet to see a video that covers this essential principle of clearing properly from the ball after hitting a shot so you are not in the way.

So how do you address the movement around the opponent when moving back and forth from the T…it’s rarely a diagonal…

He may be right about squash movement but actually, fencers stay facing forward when they move.

For anyone here, watch Ali Farag's movement vid. You're welcome.
