To be honest, the reason why SMG4, SMG3, Bob & Boopkins get a redesign is in case to avoid to get DMCA'd by Nintendo, in other words to avoid copyright strikes from Nintendo, despite the fact that SMG4's channel is protected by Australia's 'Fair Use' laws (not like the case of SML or SuperMarioLogan based in US which has been cease and desist by Nintendo America in 2021). Also I like SMG4's, SMG3's and Bob's new designs as SMG4's redesign heavily resembles to his official art design and of course Bob with his bandana. However, the redesign of Fishy Boopkins is too simple that he reminds me of a green ball. By the way, the new model of Bob and Boopkins has been teased on one of the episode of GLITCH series Sunset Paradise, especially on "Cat-sino Royale". And finally, due to the fact that SMG4 and SMG3 got their new designs at the end of WOTFI 2022, I guess that all Mario recolors, including SMG4's pals X and FM, will get their new designs as well; thus making Mario the only remaining Mario recolor in the SMG4 series, as well as ending the Mario recolors saga of this series + a new beginning of the new era of SMG4's new model. Overall, I like this WOTFI, especially the rap song that includes for the first time a fully synchronized lip-syncing in this rap. But sadly, I'm gonna miss old designs of SMG4, SMG3, Bob and Boopkins (I think it will take more time to get used to stick with Boopkins' new design although I liked SMG4's, SMG3's and Bob's ones)
