The skill level of kids this age here is unbelievable. I play bball and live in Australia in a country town and kids can barely dribble a ball here at that age. These kids have their heads up running plays, making shots. It's amazing

These youth leagues are where future players are coming from. Often these teams are put together from kids within an area or region and they'll travel together for tournaments. In a few years their growth spurts will decide who rises to the top and eventually on to college or the draft.

That’s cool you wanna do that and very honorable and respectful thing to do and I amend You for that ! That’s more than I can say for the creator of this video with their stereotypical BS Thumbnail raging on the Kid because he’s wearing KOBE BRYANT shoes ! Pretty damn disrespectful & racist in my opinion. If you look around he’s not the only kid wearing Nike Kobe's. I think that kid is outstanding for his size and age and he’s gonna be a force to be reckoned with by time he gets to high school and college if he keeps improving.

How is it possible that Sheppard kid is projected to be a top 5 pick? This year's tournament was the first time I saw him play but he didn't look like anything special
@JJGhostHunters
@JJGhostHunters 13 күн бұрын
@@_JellyDonut_ He was great all season and was clutch in many situations. Calipari does something to these kids...he breaks them down mentally and they fall apart in tournament situations. Someone needs to address this because it is very real. Calipari turns 4 and 5 star players into 2 star players. Good luck to Arkansas!
@_JellyDonut_
@_JellyDonut_ 13 күн бұрын
@@JJGhostHunters I don't know if it's fair to put all the blame on Cal. He's coached a ton of guys who went on to be great pros and credit him for their success. If a kid can't take the pressure maybe he's just not built for the big time. Those 4 or 5 star ratings are based on what they did in high school. Just because you're great at one level doesn't mean it's going to translate to the next. I guess time will tell with Sheppard
@JJGhostHunters
@JJGhostHunters 13 күн бұрын
@@_JellyDonut_ You make a fair point. Sheppard is a really good player, but I don't think he is ready for the NBA. I wished he would have stayed at UK a couple more years. But remember, that Cal only won 1 championship with all of those that went to the NBA as first round draft picks. Even lost to Wisconsin in 2015 after going perfect the whole season. The players just got overwhelmed and should not have lost the way they did.

I agree! U teach them to be disruptive and disrespectful on the court it spills over into their private lives and on the street. You teach them to play hard but be respectful on the court it also follows them off he court. I’ve played and coached the game in 3 different sports ⚾️🏀🏈 and I taught my kids to be on the field or court the same way I felt they should act in real life. I’ll call out any coach who teaches or encourages his students disrespectfulness roughness and rowdiness on a basketball court as making a huge mistake that will follow in those kids personal life. Football there’s a sense of rowdiness for sure to a point, but basketball, No there’s no place for a being mean and rowdy mentality. Any coach or parental group who’s encouraging that crap will be same ones visiting their kids in Prison. It’s a game with rules and regulations just like life ! Anyone teaching kids there is no rules and regulations are creating bad seeds for their future. They have to be taught structure and rules. The way these little kids tackling each other on the floor like football going after the ball and no whistle was blown.... Tells me No rules and structures were being enforced.

I don’t give a crap what nobody says: But that #1 on the orange team pound for pound is the best basketball player on those 2 teams in my opinion. That kid will be point guard on a Big ACC Or Big 10 Conference team by the time he leaves High School ! That kid is well rounded to be small but he will grow & possibly he’ll be Over 6’ tall by time he’s a senior in High School. He has the dribble & footwork as well as he can shoot the ball from different ranges. That kid will be another Bobby Hurley in college Soon. But what I think is so childish is y’all wanna thumbnail your video & focus on his shoes making fun about the kid having nice expensive tennis shoes. Well if all the other kids parents would get off their lazy duffs and go to work they could afford to buy their kids the same type shoes!!!!! Don’t make or poke fun at a little kid because he has nice tennis shoes & make it a joke he had the nicest shoes but lost the game. Because that’s just an adult acting childish very teenagerish by making fun of a little white Kid because his parents or grandparents cared enough about him to work hard & provide him with quality footwear!!!!! I go to practically All of my local high school’s Baseball ⚾️Football 🏈, Volleyball 🏐 & Basketball 🏀 games. I see kids from all walks of life & racial ethnic backgrounds, I see rich kids who wear average shoes & clothes & On the Other Hand I see poor & middle Class White, Black and Hispanic kids who wear the most expensive Nike, Adidas, Under Armor Shoes & other Top Brand Clothing. Because all Parents & Grandparents are different in the way they provide for their kids & grandkids. It all boils down to how much people care for their kids & grandkids & by no means would I suggest giving your kids and grandkids everything they want because that leads to spoiling a Child. But I do highly recommend giving your kids all they need to succeed in life !!!! If two people can have the fun of making babies they must have the responsibility of providing for them babies, kids, Teenagers and helping them become responsible, respectable & honorable adults as well. The best thing we can do as adults for our younger generations is first and foremost Provide for them and If that means getting off our lazy A**es and going to work to buy them what they need, Then we must do it ! I worked 2 jobs when was sons were teenagers so I could have the money to buy them things they needed & yes that included Expensive Jordan’s & Timberland boots 🥾 ect. Not necessarily what they want but what they need. But teaching our kids to Poke Fun at other kids because they have an expensive pair of tennis shoes & making videos and Titling them in a way you’re teaching our youth to Be Stereotypical isn’t cool at all. Because this is almost a form of Teaching our youth to be stereotypical which is Definitely not giving our youth the proper tools to become good honorable and responsible & respectable adults. Maybe I have totally misunderstood this whole video & forgive me if I’m wrong..... But the Thumbnail of this video & what was written on the Thumbnail picture of this video, Totally appeared to me to be; 1st hating on or making fun of the little White Kid on the Orange/Green Team the #1 for having the expensive Kobe shoes. Also making light of him having those expensive shoes & still losing the game. So I took it as you’re saying to the world & this little kid just because you’re wearing the fancy expensive KOBE shoes don’t help you to win ball games. ! ?? 🤷🏽‍♂️ So I found it very offensive a grown person would post something like this about a kid & his dang shoes for God sake. I saw a lot of other expensive shoes in this video and he wasn’t the only one wearing very expensive basketball shoes on that court. Plus No one knows this kids or his parents/grandparents story !!!! People don’t know the true story behind him even wearing them shoes. He could have a single mom or a Single dad working 2 jobs to make sure he had those shoes 👟 like I did for my boys being a single dad. It could’ve been his grandparents who Bought him the shoes because his parent(s) couldn’t afford them. The Expensive Tennis Shoes Could’ve Been his main 2023 Christmas Present??? No one really knows someone else’s story until they’ve walked a mile in their shoes so to speak, no pun intended. But Regardless I hope that kid don’t see this video and it discourage him or gives him a complex that discourages him from playing or being as good as he can be. If so that will be something you’ll have to answer to God for on Judgement Day. Because like I said earlier pound for pound that #1 little kid on the Orange/Green Team is playing way above his age level and he’s an outstanding ball handler and Shooter and his Assists on scoring is all superb for his age group. That kid if he continues to grow & get better is gonna be a point guard for some big 10 or ACC College in the next 7-11 years, depending on his age now. But I’m still confused here: Because the Thumbnail pic & what you wrote on Your Thumbnail sounds very Stereotypical. Like you’re Rubbing it in this kids face like you was saying Well Ha Ha you might have the Expensive Kobe Shoes But you lost the game. so the shoes don’t make the player... As if it was making light of the kids shoes and his team losing to the Black and Green team. The shoes 👟 may not make the player but to be that age & have nice shoes 👟 & gear of the pro’s it does build confidence & makes a kid feel better about themselves & that does transfer to their playing. I know i’m 60 years old I grew up poor with cheap tennis shoes and I remember my mom sacrificing to be able to get me my first pair of leather high Top Converse All Stars ⭐️! This was back in the era that Converse Tennis Shoes was the #1 seller & they made a canvas hi top but the Leather was Top of the Line basketball shoes back then long before Nike and others took the place of Converse. But I felt like I was just as good as the best players in the league after I got my new leather Hi Top Converse All Stars ⭐️. I went out there with a lot more confidence in myself & my team & I scored the most points on my team to help lead us to victory & got my name put in the Local Tribune Newspaper 📰 back in the 1970’s in the local sports scores. That was a big turning point in building my confidence & I had to learn from my Dad fo use white KIWI shoe polish and polish my leather converse All Star ⭐️ shoes to make them last longer & I only wore them for basketball 🏀 because I knew mom & Dad couldn’t afford to go buy me new shoes every ball season. I wore my cheaper shoes to school, So I made my Converse last 2 basketball seasons because my mom bought them 1 size too big on purpose a 10.5 size at the time I was only wearing a 9.5 so mom and dad showed me that I could stuff toilet paper 🧻 in the end of them at the Toe the first year so they’d fit. The next year I removed the toilet paper because my foot was 1 size bigger at 10.5 so that’s how I made them last me 2 years. But with Dad’s help showing me how to remove my shoe strings & use KIWI white shoe polish to keep my leather looking new. The other kids didn’t know I had on the same tennis shoe the second season. But I could tell by looking now with my new knowledge of polishing shoes that there was a couple other kids also using Leather shoe polish so I knew I wasn’t alone. But the leather KIWI shoe polish kept them looking brand new for 2 years. They still looked just broke in after the 2nd year and I passed them down to my brother who was a few years younger than me. He wore them for One year before my parents finally bought him a new pair of his own. He then passed that pair of his new ones down to my youngest brother for his first pair of Converse All Stars. Then by the time my youngest brother got to his second pair of basketball 🏀 shoes he got the Nike & by the time he was in High School the Air Jordans was popular & my youngest brother had to work a part time job after school to help my parents pay for his Air Jordans. But people nowadays don’t know what hard times are & realize that kids getting nice shoes 👟 to play in helps build their confidence & self esteem, it really does !!! Then the title of this video itself says: Viral 4th Grader Kason Angert GOES OFF in Kobe Grinches! So exactly what kind of message are you trying to Convey to our Youth & people in general ? A encouraging message or a Stereotypical ragging on someone about their shoes message ??? Because if it’s the ladder that’s a pretty Sick thing to do when it comes to kids especially & my Word SCK is not meaning Cool like many are using that word for Nowadays. If it was being used in a stereotypical way i think for a grown A** Man or A Grown A** Woman to make a video and Thumbnail & Thumbnail message it that way about a kid’s Shoes & their loss on the basketball court is pretty d*mn pathetic. So I hope I’m misunderstanding The Whole message you’re trying to convey to our youth. Because the messages we convey to our youth really determines what kind of adults they’re gonna become.
