Exactly. He was an under achiever his entire life! Even his books were written at an elementary level and uninspiring from what I hear. His brothers all achieved some level of success and I think that really bothered Chad as the oldest-this his NEED to be thought of as special and God’s chosen one. But, he’s a loser, plain and simple. A Loser and a murderer.

@@lori3967personally, I think Lori wasn’t Chads first affair. The book visions of glory gave Chad his ideas . I also think he had an affair with Julie Rowe the author of that book. So I think Chad was going sideways for a few years prior to meeting Lori…and then, it was the catalyst that really got him wrapped into the entire sex and money aspect .

Actually, Chud didn't stand up for the jury because he wasn't allowed to. The officer behind him motioned for him to stay seated, I guess for security reasons; it is much easier to subdue a seated person than a standing one and after the verdict they were taking no chances. Annie Cushing (Joe Ryan's sister) on The Murderous Heart made a short where it can be seen how he wanted to get up but was signalled to to stay seated.

Why would Julie ask a freaking Juror who literally just voted guilty and on a DP and proceed to ask her if she’s heard or knew of the case prior to being a juror…!?!?!? Is she trying to set up a possible mistrial!? That was such a stupid question.
@Julie-zy4ki
@Julie-zy4ki 28 күн бұрын
Hearing about the case prior to jury selection is not a disqualification for jury duty. They just need to agree to be impartial despite what they have heard. But it’s true that most jurors that are chosen usually don’t know much
@Kassel1982
@Kassel1982 28 күн бұрын
@@Julie-zy4ki yeah… it 100% opens a door for appellate issues. That’s a fact. The courts make sure that they know little to nothing about the case prior. All it takes is one juror who lied to get on, forget what they said and find out they knew way more. You just don’t go there. And you’re talking about “disqualifications,” per being selected. Thats not what I’m talking about at all.

I so appreciate hearing the thoughts of these fabulous jurors. I have so much respect for them. I followed this case from the very beginning, and have been all in and hopeful for this outcome. If anyone had any doubts about Chad Daybell, the fact that at the end, he did not offer one word in his own defense, nor showed any remorse, should tell them everything they need to know. Anyone who believed themselves innocent of these horrific crimes would be shouting it from the rooftops. He sat there emotionless, and said nothing. He thinks he is above it all, and was ordained by God to do what he did. His ego is off the scales at a sick level. So thankful justice was served in this horrendous case.

He was not going to give any body anything like look at me I am not Phased by any of this.and I am all powerful sitting here not showing one shred of remorse he wanted people to see hin so in control I will here stone faced because i am better than everyone of you here . He wanted death. Do we know if we found out in any of this crazy belief system he had that if he committed suicide would it make him not powerful or something like that in the next life. It seems to me if he wanted to go to the next life he would take matters into his own hands. Same goes for lori. If they really wanted to be on the other side of the veil they could simply make that happen.

I was speaking with my husband about what I would find most difficult if I were on the jury and I also said that the photos of JJ would be the hardest. Not only was he the youngest and most vulnerable, but he would have been more recognizable. The photos of Tylee would be graphic and yet far removed from what she would have looked like. It would be easier to disassociate what you saw from a real person in order to cope. However, JJ would have been still recognizable as a little boy and those images would stay burned into your mind.

Every juror should get therapy paid for by the court. Any trial that shows photos or videos of people who have died or children/teen/adults who have been abused should also get therapy. First if the defendant has money that should be used and if not the court should as they are the ones who brought these people in for the trial. I just can’t imagine the nightmares they have.

I am still shocked that he didn’t offer any mitigation! I think he was hoping to get DP. It’s the only thing that makes sense.

He will be protected and left alone with his demented thoughts as a DP inmate. Hoping someone will still be able to get at him.

Chad was not a good husband , many says he has history of cheating and this evil Julie Rowe was one of them .What is so confusing is the kids ,maybe the blood money they got from there father is why they throw there mother under the bus ,cant find any other explanation to there acts . Thanks to the jurors for the justice .God bless .

Uh he definitely hit on other women but I don't think anyone took the bait lol sorry but look at him before he met Lori . JR said he did hit on her but in my humble opinion the reason he went bat crap crazy was bc LORI hit back.

This all could've been avoided if someone had spoken up and said, "What the heck are you talking about?" When Chad was giving his crazy sermons, Zulema, Melanie Gib, Lorie's family members should've reported this guy to the police before all of this deviant behavior took place. Don't be scared to speak up and say this needs to stop. Or these types of cases will keep happening.

What an amazing Juror. I'm not a proponent of the DP and am struck by how careful this woman and her fellow Jurors were with this case.

Very articulate and clear on what happened in court . .It must have been so difficult and again emotional .. so hard .. amazing as are fellow jurors . Also the police and attorney's on this very heartbreaking case . Court TV for coverage..I've followed it from the beginning . Just wondered if you receive any counselling as jurors . You are all amazing ..

I’m glad like 7 jurors already speaking about the case. I’ve no doubt sooner or later will need therapy. If you see the full interview of like 6 jurors with Idaho news . They have created a bond among them going through this traumatic process of looking at graphic pictures. Even the alternates jurors were in agreement in the deliberation room.

Chad used and abused his children, putting them on the Stand, but it really backfired. Chad had his children so brainwashed, they don't know what's right and what's wrong. He is so self-centered and has thrown so many people under the bus. His robotic behaviour and complete lack of any emotions shows us how psychopathic he really is. Definitely a danger to society. This lady was great, along with the other Jury members. Thankyou and regards from Ireland 🇮🇪💚

First time I ever saw the face of J.J and Tylee was on a billboard on the interstate. My heart sunk I knew for some reason they were no longer a live. Way to many children are been murdered by their own parents now days for no damn reason.

There seems to be the question about whether Lori made him do this. Here is my answer (for what it’s worth). Any man who can be so visibly unmoved by the images and evidence presented would not be moved by someone as needy as Lori. Even in his jail calls he giggled at her neediness and humoured her. That man was not influenced by lori at all. He objectified her as a sexual object and not as a valued human partner.
