If sent to prison he may get himself killed by the regular Inmates. They will have a field day with him. I'm not sure if mom did drugs when she was pregnant, but he's slower. State hospital would be better. He still will be a prisoner but with his own and can get treatment. Had she sought some treatment and therapy for him when he was a young boy, and really gave him the love he needed, thing's would be different. She failed, and I believe she said something to him while being drunk and he snapped. It's clear he was angry, due to how many times he hit her. The dog probably was trying to protect mom and he killed the dog. Just sad, they would put him on stand and not pleaded insanity. His lawyer also failed him.

I can’t wrap my head around this entire cast of freaky characters. Even the detective looks creepy with his “wet” hair. Mr. Wheeler, the mother’s boyfriend (and accused sex offender), is only less scary than the defendant, because his voice is a few octaves higher. I have to believe that the Defense Attorney begged his client to stay quiet, even though Sean Pickett ignored the wise advice. The defendant is not helping me to understand, why he had to kill her. “I just ‘naturally’ stabbed her two times.” “I instinctively hit her (with the metal bar)….” As Ricky Ricardo often exclaimed, “Ay Yi Yi!”

Sounds to me, only from what I have heard here on this video is that this young man never really had a chance at a decent life. I could be way off, but it sounds like his mother was a drunk. This IS what happens when alcohol and/or drugs are more important to you than your children. He said his mother didn't want him around. Well, that is devastating to a child. No matter their age!!! Like I said, I don't know anything of this story other than the headline I heard on the radio about a son killing his mother and what I have seen on this video. Now, if she didn't want him around because of his behavior or mental issues, then, did she try to get him help? If not, then again, she was a huge part of the issues he has. I will have to watch more and find out more about his upbringing to make a verdict of my own. However, he seems lucid and alert and seems to be truthful. His voice has nothing to do with whether or not he is evil or good. That's just inane bubble-headed thinking! Sam Elliott's voice is deep too, but everyone thinks it's great! SMH. On another note, if he said he hears voices... He very well may have!!! I heard a voice in my head one day while I was out on a recreational drive. I had started to think about my mother and how things could have been better between us and I heard a female voice in the left upper side of my brain. I had NEVER heard anything like that before! It said "I apologize". I knew it was real and that I actually heard it in my head. Not like when we are thinking. That feels centralized. This was in a specific area in my brain. So, I believe in the voices now. They can be real. Mine was a good one, but I can believe that there are also evil or bad ones that might try to get one to do their bidding! I haven't experienced anything like that before or since. I apologized back and had a good little chat. LOL So, it just proves that NO ONE really knows how the brain works and what it's all about. There is far more to it than we even realize, I theorize. I've gotten a small gift in that little moment. Proof that there is more to all of this than we know!!!! So, for them to be on the video assuming he's lying, which he may be, but... He may also be telling truths!! Everyone is so suspicious of absolutely everything that we don't stop to learn anything about things. Just in such a hurry to prosecute and imprison and move on to the next. He may need psychiatric care and maybe even just someone TO care in order to get better. Many are like that. Well, we shall see. Thanks for letting me ramble on... LOL

@@pumalogo204 I do not know what it had to do with his childhood. Maybe it was a very, very cruel childhood. My uncle that was raised in an orphanage, forced my cousin to watch his Dad drown his little puppies. These things affect children deeply. My girlfriend's son would hurt animals when he was really young, and she found out that his Dad was sexually abusing both her son and her daughter. @Troy Stewart They live in their feelings and think in their feelings/emotions! They project their own, "How would I feel", onto the criminal. They fall for his deceit, hook, line and sinker! Then they want to help him. They completely dismiss this guy's first lie, listen to his victim story, told with a deliberate, display of mental delay and now, they fully believe that he is a full fledged, mentally challenged & traumatized victim. Then, they accept his voices lie, because, naturally, they have seen so many true crime cases that claim the same thing from abuse. (He has too). No logical thinking going on there. This guy was angry and his mother wasn't going to to pay his rent, food, etc., anymore. His description of her clearly shows that he had no respect for her and blamed her for everything and tried to control her. This was his out of control anger, period, and he is trying to use every tactic he can to get away with it. I'm reading him like a book. Emotionally based thinkers identify with & enable other emotionally based thinkers by reacting w/impulsive, sympathetic, emotional behavior. This same emotionally based thinking is used by murderers, liars, thieves, etc., & is displayed in the same, impulsive, emotionally, reactive behaviors with a different contrast of violence. The sympathy is reserved for themselves to justify their actions by playing the role of victim. Only emotionally based thinkers feel sorry for him & think he couldn't help what he did because of child abuse, mental issues, he didn't get any love, he never had jelly for his PB&J sandwiches, and/or the voices of Vinnie, Big Bad Billy & Johnny the Killer, lived in his head, hid his jelly & bullied him, there-by, forcing him to murder his mother and dog. 🙄

OMG! This reminds me of a book report I did in college in a psychology class that I took and at the University: This is a portion of my book report on sociopathology, insightful! THE TEN COMMANDMENTS A SOCIAPATH'S PERCEPTION 1. Thou shall not have no other Gods before me. I'll worship money, sex, power and the devil himself if I please. I give allegiance to no one, ever. 2. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord, thy God, in vain. I like being vain and I'll say anything I want to if it impresses, seduces, controls or destroys others. 3. Thou shalt sanctify the holy day. The only holy day is when I get my way, and the darkness is my best friend. (Many sociopaths have allegiances and pacts with the devil) to feel in control. An example of this would be Jody Arias who practiced "wicca" which is also witchcraft. The Columbine High School shooters who were in the "trench coat mafia" and had some sort of delusional allegiance with Adolph Hitler, associating jocks with Jews. 4. Thou shalt honor thy father and mother. I secretly hate and despise my parents and all those authority figures who want me to be loving and do things their way. 5. Thou shalt not kill. I enjoy killing living things and watching the hopelessness and helplessness on my victims faces. I like killing other people's happiness and dreams. When someone is happy and doing really good in their life and or has been really successful in their life a sociopath is angry and wants to destroy their happiness and success but if someone is not happy or not doing well in their life then the sociopath is happy and appears to fixate on their unhappiness. It's real sick and twisted. Also, family pets are mistreated and mysteriously disappear without explanation and become real people later on in a sociopath's life. 6. Thou shalt not commit adultery. Every woman (or man) is fair game for sexual conquest. 7. Thou shalt not steal. If I see it and I want it, then it's mine. 8. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. I can lie with more confidence than you can tell the truth. Conning, slandering and verbally manipulating others is what I do best. 9. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house. I see no reason why not, since I deserve it more than him. 10. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife or husband. If it hurts him or her and makes me feel good for the moment, nothing else matters. I noticed his voice sounds really abnormally strange, distorted, sounds really evil too. Has anyone heard of the PDR (Physicians' Desk Reference)? This is like a "Doctor's bible," that all doctors use to research and look up any medications. You can look up any medication in the world online with this resource, just type in PDR, type in medication you want to research, and you will see exactly what they are and any and all adverse reactions they give. I used this as a resource for my book reports at the University I attended. I am curious to know if he takes any psychotropic medications such as Prozac, Xanax, Zoloft, Paxil, Ambien, etc., because these medications are highly dangerous and cause visual and auditory hallucinations. They also cause homicidal and suicidal ideation. These are what every school shooter and even mass shooters were taking such as the Columbine High shooters, Virginia Tech shooter, etc. I really wonder if the just recent 4th of July shooter in Illinois was taking them too! They need to be taken off the market ASAP! This is highly societally dangerous and puts everybody in harm's way.
