Cover of “This is me” by Keala Settle from the movie ‘The Greatest Showman’ composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
To conclude a week in which they focussed on resilience, a little over 400 students on the UniPrep programme rehearsed and performed (they were prepared and conducted by Igelese Ete) a COVER of this inspiring and powerful song in under 4 hours. UniPrep is a five-week programme that supports students as they transition from high school to tertiary studies to realise and unleash their potential. We hope this empowers and uplifts you as much as it did for all of them.

Am I the only one that found her voice incredibly annoying? Like she can hold a note yeah but over all there’s something really off. Plus if your going to scream and squeal while singing you really have to make sure you don’t sound whiny other wise like her you doing like a toddler having a tantrum

Your people should be so proud of you. I am. Yorta Yorta Aboriginal woman in Australia it is wonderful to see so many beautiful young generations proud of the Culture. It’s a shame our country couldn’t get behind our young generation as your people and country come together. My daughter and her partner who is a Cook Islander are going to have there first child and I am so proud to have my 1st grandchild who has two amazing cultures coming together and embrace it. Fantastic and amazing choir.

Kia ora, this was just amazing. I was once an exchange student at AUT south campus and this video just made me miss the maori and kiwi mentality and all the people there so much! Wonderful video!
