So many pitfalls in the strategy. We r talking about averaging by selling CE many times so that holding cost can be reduced. But, for every such CE sale, we need huge margin. How much will be the premium which will be available for averaging? Peanuts. Basically, averaging means we r expecting that stock will go up in future. Reliance was trading sideways for nearly 3 years. So, this strategy is very risky and return is highly speculative.

Hey. There are few things regarding combination strategy that I think you didn't explain properly. If you are willing to average it downwards it's simply better to do it with cash secured puts instead of outright purchase of stock from open market. Cost benefit will be better in case of cash secured puts in combination with covered call.

Worth watching it. It opened my view on options selling. I have 2 questions. Do we need extra money to short the call even if I am holding required lot size? Once the price reached ATM, do we need to sell on the expiry day or before that. What if I don't square of my call sell options. Will my stocks from holdings gets wiped out? Will I end up in making loss????

Agar 40 ka loss hai month end me to us month me stock ki to delivery deni padegi na.... Next month ka 40 call sell karne k kya matlab...? Jab hamare holding mehi stock nahi rahega... I am confused.. thik se samaz nahi paa raha hu ye concept🙄🤔

Is there a options strategy that has a fixed profit to loss ratio .. like loss max could be 1 but max profit is 2 or 3 .. that way if you invest more and more you could be profitable more times than being in loss ...

Sir maine JUL ka1980 mai ril ka covered call sell kiya tha fir stock up gaya use 2060 pe le gaya stock or uper gaya fir AUG expiry mai 2180 per 43 mai sell kiya hai ab yeh or uper jayega to kya karu muze delivery abhi sell nahi karni or bhi koi adjustment kar sakta hu kya ?

Thanks for information regarding Physical Settlement. I was thinking to buy icici bank 400 CE till expiry. now it suppose price will come to near price before monthly expiry last week before, I need to exit Right ? i hope but that time will not ask for physical settlement. i am little confused here. what if price come before expiry or we want exit hope they will not ask for buy that stock because its before expiry in the money not in month expiry ?
