Our top tips for this video:
- Assemble your jigsaw on a flat, smooth surface. We made this before we had cut our plywood. The perspex worked really well for sliding across. Once moved over, ensure your jigsaw is level.
- Seal your jigsaw with a clear, craft, PVA glue. This will help to stop the resin soaking into the pieces and distorting any colours. Cover with a cardboard box to avoid any dust or debris settling into the artwork.
- Our resin works on a 1:1 ratio. Mix both parts equally. Ensure it is mixed thoroughly.
- Pour into the middle of the jigsaw and use a plastic applicator to spread the resin evenly. It really is a super resin and will spread with little effort. Remove any air bubbles with a heat gun. Leave to cure for approx 48 hours at room temperature, covering again with cardboard.
