Great video! I had no idea those cheaper tarps did so poorly! thank you for shining some light on that, Most people are probably using the same tarp! Those cheap tarps definitively would not hold up in heavy winds!

This is dangerous. You could do a similar setup with the tarp attached to the fence at the far end of the yard which would be much safer.

The windows are no issues as long as they are closed because the wind flow will take care of it and even with no winds it won’t be enough co2 to make it inside your home. I also have the same Westinghouse generator and works just fine on propane with my 3 ton AC.

Agree not ideal. I have two carbon monoxide detectors in the home on that same side in two different rooms. I ran this in a similar configuration during the Texas snowpocalypse with no issue.

Maybe you could make "snorkel" type thing for the exhaust? that way you don't have to blast your windows.
