Do you bake the wood beads before covering with clay? I live in a really humid area and wonder about the wood absorbing some moisture, then creating steam bubbles if they're not baked/dried first.

I know this is an old video, but I don't see the bead kit with template on your website. Do you no longer sell it?

I have wanted to cover wood beads for a long time and bought some off of amazon and they were terrible. They weren’t consistently round and had a lot of splintering so it caused extra work and I gave up. I saw these on your website and jumped to buy them this morning and hoped you had a video and YOU DID! Thank you! One Quesiton..I have some grommets but not sure of the size needed for these beads what size are you using?
@TeresaPandoraSalgado3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Nana. The holes and grommets are 3/16”. I hope you enjoy them. Make sure the adhesive is tacky and you’ll want to sooth the air pockets toward the hole and trim. I have a be wood bead video coming Tues 6/13😀

Beautiful work! But quick question: How do you keep the clay from cracking when it bakes? That's the problem I always have when I try to cover a wooden object with clay.
@TeresaPandoraSalgado3 жыл бұрын
These beads have not cracked. The only ones I had a problem with we’re pretty-finished.

@@TeresaPandoraSalgado Thanks, I'll give it another try...
