To the point of a choice for a repeated trigger, they already have something like that when you're trying to assign trample damage to multiple blockers you can click up or down the number of instances per item. You could do the same thing with creating the treasure vs food, and even with the mana wheel you would just have an up and down arrow

They already have something like that for when you're adding more than five(?) mana to your mana pool at once. The problem is that either player could respond to each of the triggers, so they have to be done one at-a-time. That said, setting it to autoselect would be nice.

@@SmashPortal They can respond to individual triggers, but not individual choices, since priority only passes once all these triggers are on the stack. Autoselect for priority passing loops would be more complicated to implement (and you wouldn't be guaranteed that whatever you "plan" in the UI would actually happen, since opponents could interrupt the combo), but still possible to implement (even decades old MS Word had macros)...

12:25 CGB with the UI improvement ideas. I love it. There could even be two buttons. Perhaps a x5 and a All button. So the next 5 times it asks for a mana color it would pick that color automatically or if all was selected, until the stack is empty.

I think the issue is because it gives your opponent priority after each of these triggers, and to do "resolve x5" your opponent would have to succeed priority for each of those triggers which, in theory sounds super easy but we all know in practice you'd have people who'd make you do individual triggers just to make you mad.

@@KromeDrone that doesnt make any sense. That is already right now. This proposed change would make it so your inputs could be automated. If the opponent has to pass priority for each one it will still be faster and easier for you. If they dont have anything that holds priority or have clicked resolve all it would indeed machine gun resolve like when triggers dont require a choice on resolve

@@KromeDroneIf the opponent takes an action it can cancel the triggers. If they don't take an action, your next trigger can run. They can rope you, but this would not change that.

I have seen the client get broken in a game I was in. My opponent played and absolutely massive doppelgang, each copy it made putting triggers on the stack, each trigger adding other triggers, etc. By the time the client froze and crashed I believe it had between 1000 and 1500 triggers to resolve.

12:30 So, I play a game called "Sentinels of the Multiverse" and one of the things is has it that you can hold down an option you're choosing and if you do it will eventually show "This turn" to have it always choose that option for the rest of the turn or holding it even longer "All game" to have it always make that selection for that effect for the rest of the game. Think that could work here.

It's the one commander I instantly concede against. Used to be Rusko, but somehow Rusko isn't a problem anymore - I assumed they moved Rusko to the top tier and now it competes properly. The video was fun to watch, though. But the card is broken, and it should be fighting against the likes of Ragavan, not random decks.

@@Morthal3you can't interrupt that combo with the Altar. The triggers get caught in an infinite loop. I have a Historic deck that I built around that combo with Blood Artist effects.

@@deadneck13 You can interact with it if you have another trigger that gets put onto the stack, like Tireless Tracker's landfall. But yes, another piece is required.

@@Morthal3 oh, right, I forgot. My deck typically brings in the two creatures simultaneously with Defense of The Heart, in which case the combo can't be broken. The only thing the opponent can do is to kill the Blood Artist and change it from a loss to a draw. When both creatures enter simultaneously, Poq creates duplicates of each and immediately triggers again, sealing the loo.

They changed how Training Grounds works in paper Magic just because they couldn't be bothered to take an existing X=Whatever interface and modify it to default to 2 for Training Grounds' discount function on Arena, so I'm gonna say it *would* be easy to implement but they're not gonna because they can't be assed to.

I played against this deck today. Dude played Ashaya, then mythweaver. It turned into an unending loop of conjuring a double of Mythweaver, then sac-ing to legendary rule, and then making another mythweaver. Couldn't conceed. After ten minutes the game finally ended in a draw

I’m glad you made this video, I was concerned that Mythweaver Pog didn’t have any way to win since it only produces endless noninteractable mana and a huge body. An additional mill strat should at least help it into “passable” tier

Giving video a like but I hate Mythweaver Poq! Absolutely annoying card, it should be sent into hell queue. It pays for itself in a way golos did, itself is a problem if you don't remove it, and it gives you more lands then Azusa would. And with the Cavern around every corner, you can't rely on countering it either. Only way of somewhat stopping is with confounding conundrum, unless they turn 2-3 boseiju it.....

I keep Breaking the client with this commander lol, created over 2000 scrute swarms on 1 turn yesterday lagged out to main menu lol. To be fair I could have just won by swinging in but I thought it would be funnier to break the client, still a win in my book.
