I love to play, just started in paper a couple years ago, my LGS just closed down 6 months ago, I started playing Arena around that time and, darn it all to heck, with work and life I just don't have a ton of time to meticulously research cards & combos & such. So I've been f**king loving your videos! I play enough to get the daily quests and, this time around, I've gotten almost all the WOE cards, and building decks based on your videos has been a fantastic way to see the world and progress through the ranks. I just made Mythic for the first time ever, using this deck, and again, I just wanted to say 'thanks' man. Keep being awesome.

CGB, I'm playing Werewolves on the ladder right now. Could you maybe update the Werewolves list with Eldrain support? It's literally SMASHING every deck I come up against. 1 weird token control deck got me yesterday but seriously even without Packleader, I am steamrolling.

so I already hit mythic with a invasion of alara deck variant that I made but had fallen down to the 600s cause of endless mono red and boros aggro this deck has been great for getting some revenge. Super solid build I think that using the ossification through your own thalia is the real tech that make the the difference compared to other mono white decks. Just made someone pay 4 mana to cast play with fire between thalia and anointed peacekeep. they conceded when I dropped the second thalia lmao.

Went 13-7 after 20 best of one games on standard ranked ladder. Of those 20 games, zero against mono red.

I just hit mythic with this deck. Since I didn't have all of the Adversaries and Hopeful Initiates (only 2 Adversaries and 1 Initiate which I eventually removed altogether), I subbed in 2 Steel Seraphs to go over the top , 3 Bunnicorns to grow, and 1 Serra Paragon since we are all 3 mana or fewer, to go over the top, and to bring back creatures against all the removal out there. This deck is awesome against Red Aggro. Harder to play against Mono Black and Sheoldred which is another reason I added the evasion and the graveyard recursion. I played with Virtue of Loyalty, but it was too slow. Thank you. I usually like to play rogue Gain & Drain decks, but this meta is too wild and wooly for any consistency.

Any ideas for replacing the Peacekeeper? I think it's a great card in this deck but Arena has this Bug where it hangs up everytime I cast a Peacekeeper so I'm looking for some reasonable card to play aroung this bug. If you have any suggestions please let me know 🙂

I've finally been climbing the ladder and just made it into Platinum 1. I've also been feeling very dirty because I've done it with a nasty mono-red aggro deck. No other option that I've tried before has let me past gold. I mostly play for fun but I finally went the route of "if you can't beat them, join them". Again it's left me feeling slimy. I really hope this is a better option because I really hate the current mono-red style. Playing it or playing against it.

All I have played against since making this deck has been various Bx Midrange decks. This deck has a real hard time beating multiple Sheoldreds

Ive had no luck with this deck. Negative winrate. Played monored a couple of times but they are always on the play and without fail every single time i flooded and lost. In fact 80% of my games i am flooded or screwed. Either never getting to 3 lands or easily hitting 7 or 8. I just dont find it very consistent. It hada couple of easy wins but other than that its just a lot of pain.

This is cool stuff, but at the same time I'm like: haven't I seen this 1+ years ago? This is my problem with Bo1 standard - pretty much no variety over months and years - why am I playing? CGB: you are very entertaining and also very good at showing/explaining the play-by-play decisions, but I'm off of MTG except a few draft sessions. I don't know how WotC can "fix" this - I would be employed if I did - but I'm out due to frustration. Cheers.

Off topic of WW decks, how did you get to where you are today in the magic community? I went back to your 7 year old vids with the other MTG platform with only hundreds of views per vid. Then seems like the first MTGA vids became multiple thousands of views. I've tried the twitch thing, but seems hard to get an audience as everyone has a "favorite" they watch. Me being no different, I try to find vids centered are MTG for things meta and comp decks, to see what is being played at that time for standard. Out of everone who posts, I always see myself going back to 2 or 3 particular channels to get the info. When I play on MTGA I'd say 1/4 to 1/3 of the games are always a similar deck that were posted, if not card for card. So how did you get to this point in time? 100,000+ views in 14hours? Ive been playing since mid 90's maybe a year or two after its release. Almost made it to worlds early 2000's. The whole you never remember the wins only the losses. In the excitement of knowing I'm about to have enough points even if I lose the last match I still get the invite..... With 2 ways to win the turn 4 I chose to reanimate Phage.... I'll never forget that. So how did you get to today? I never really had money so my card pool was always slim. My first years playing with friends on the weekends were brutal. My decks were for the most part pauper decks, few uncommons, 1 or 2 rares. Then I learned about FNM, and constructed tournament in about all the comic/card shops around. Then i became hooked! So how did you get started, how did you get to here, and what game will you never forget losing? Started off as 1 question but that's how things go.

This is a good deck for diamond, but will not get you past that. Too much removal, hardly no mono red matchups. It’s not a steady enough deck.

Yeah, I'm not sold on this one. I went 1 and 6 with it on Platinum level, Lost to domain 3 times, once to U/W control, once to U/B control, and oonce in the mirror, only win was against mono red.

Already played this deck. 40 matches and only won 15 of them. Lost to control, mono black and every midrange deck. I absolutely got stomped. No idea why this deck works so bad for me. My Best deck are these orzhov control type decks. Mono white Was better last season...

CGB I love your content, but I have to say this deck is not it. I found that I'm often mana screwed and there's simply not enough removal in this deck. I was lucky to win 40-50% of my matches.

Jeeze, that first monored player got so pathetically salty so quick. Forfeit and find a new game, play a different deck, or just don't play MTG if you don't like it.
