@Matt Risinger. I salute your wife for her dedication to her patients and your family. You wouldn't happen to be the cameraman for this video? Whoever it was, hats off to them too. I'm sure they had some PPE on as well. Jobsite PPE can be a pain but it's all about keeping us safe and healthy. Nothing says medical grade like a Harbor Freight US General rolling tool cart! Money well spent and meets the needs. Hate to think what a medical company would charge for the same thing? Hope you and your family stay safe and well.

Your April 29, 2020 video about far UVC light and how it can be used to disinfect large spaces (still in research phase) would be SO BENEFICIAL for the various steps that you currently take to wipe down your PPE between patients.

This is for seeing just one patient? How would you sterilize/decontaminate for seeing multiple back to back patients? This is insane, and I will definately thank our doctors and nurses for their service.

Hi Dr. Christy Thanks a lot for your videos I have one question about the 3M FFP3 respirator and covid-19. I know it is a one-time usage respirator mask but I want to extend using it. So after the initial usage of the mask, can I use it again after I isolate the used mask for 7 days?

God bless you. Something tells me that from different materials plastics is not a good idea. For this could be possible that this last garment is not so needed. In another situation, I wouldn't tell anything but if this could be changed people wouldn't have any problems. Anyhow, I wish you the best and thank you.

Is a face shield ok and googles? I see just face shields but are those best?
@allanmarks2150

Thank you for posting this very good and interesting video. I live in Guatemala, where the government has ordered everyone to wear a face mask whenever they are outside. But many people here just wear their face mask over their mouth, but not over their nose. And if they wear a surgical mask, they will re-use it forever - way past the time it should have been disposed of, because it has lost its filtration effectiveness, by being worn for too long. So I am working to design and make a face mask that will not just protect other people from me, but protect me from other people. Obviously I will not be doing anything like what you are doing, when I go for a walk outside. But I do wonder what I should be doing, besides having a good face mask. I wish I knew how easy or difficult it is to get the virus thru the eyes, compared to getting the virus thru the mouth or nose. That way I could decide if it is worth the effort to try to design a face mask with built-in eyeglasses. I am planning to use cellophane for the built-in eyeglasses. I am pretty sure I can figure out how to prevent these cellophane googles from fogging up, if that becomes a problem. As far as getting the virus from my clothing - I will just be washing my hands when I get home, and after changing clothes, and hope the virus is not easily spread by surface contact.

The only ppe we get on the trains in ny are rubber gloves and the first mask u wore. I bought my own n95 masks when this first happened. I reused mine numerous times. They only gave us n95 masks for a week then it was these blue ones that don't do nothin

Try doing this in the Emergency room as a nurse in the ED for every patient. 4/9/2022 and I am here to re-educate myself. Nothing is worst than feeling like you cannot breathe with hypoxia. These days, most health care providers work around with surgical mask because they are tired of the pandemic.
