Why is it hard to see large numbers of Igbo cow, the indeginous local breed? It seems if care is not taking that breed will go into extinction.

Thanks for your comment , but the Igbo cow specie is rare and cannot be seen in all regions , though it’s more rampant in places like Nsukka in Enugu state

@@obrealestate Why is it rare? That's the question ❓ Could it be that the mortality rate is high or lack of interest by farmers to breed the species? From the interview you did with the seller, though it looks small but the cost is high. This high cost ordinarily ought to lead to more interest in breeding that type of cow but that has not been the case. May be you need to do more research on that. Good luck.
