Guys, this product would not start automatically when power get restore. Someone needs to switch on this device whenever power resume. Technically useless for India. Go for Airmega 150

For 150sq ft go for the Airmega Aim. It’s a great purifier and it’s a new design plus it’s cheaper than the Airmega 150. The Airmega 150 is for a bigger room like the living room.

Hi, both the models that you have mentioned are great. The mi will have an app and aqi display advantage over the coway. Whereas the coway has a newer design and very long warranty from the company. At the end of the day check out which of the two has a better deal on Amazon or your choice of online shopping platform and buy the better deal. You won’t be unhappy with either 😊

I’m pretty happy with the Air Mega Aim. Its performance has been stellar and yes it does get slightly loud when it’s running at max setting but the loudness is at par with the other air purifiers maybe 1-2 decibels louder.

Have a question, bought it today. After starting this purifier I set auto mode. First 3-4 mins it blinks green-red-yellow; then the fan speed decreased and the light became green and it's stand still. That means my home's air already purified?

Yes. If your home air quality is good it will stick at green. If the air quality worsens then it will bump up the fan speed automatically and the light will change to either orange or red.

Replacement hepa filter is out of stock for a long time for the coway 150 model In terms of effectiveness 1)coway 150 around 15k rs 2) mi purifier 4 around 15k rs(replacement hepa filter available on their mi site. 3) this one which is shown in this video

To check the whether the sensor actually works or not, I brought an agarbati near the airpurifier.Neither the colour of light which inidcates air quality nor the fan speed changed. I really doubt whether this sensor is fake or not.

That’s very surprising. I tested this with my air purifier and within a few seconds the light changed and the fan speed also went to full. When you tested was it set to auto?

this specific model doesn't have washable prefilter, that plays major roll of capturing lagger particles , using vacuum on prefilter will reduce life and not advisable. Conway 150 does the job pritty well

Yes I have the 150 and a washable pre filter is definitely a boon. I’ve used the vacuum cleaner on the filters and haven’t noticed any degradation. I maybe wrong here ☺️

Can you tell me the efficacy of your coway airmega 150, coway airmega aim and mi 4 lite. Lookwise airmega aim is best but its size is quite small and that means the size of filter will also be small. Does this effect the efficacy?

The smaller form factor does not affect the efficacy. I personally don’t have the mi 4 lite. I own the 150, aim and mi 3. All perform very well. The Coway does perform slightly better in my personal opinion. You can go for either but don’t go in for the mi4 lite. If you do choose the mi go for the regular mi 4

@@adityaprakash4497 that totally depends on the air quality and size of the room. During peak pollution days in Delhi it would take roughly 30-35 minutes to clean the room if the doors and windows were left open.

8999 is a good price, go for it you won’t be disappointed. Just keep in mind this is a no frills product. There is no app it just has a remote but the performance is stellar.

Bro I'm using this about 2 days now. For these hours of usage I can't barely see a difference. I put some hairs around it for testing and it didn't even move even at the speed of 3. I have small dandruff problem these days and i can still see it in my table where i placed the Air mega Aim nearby. So is it really working???? I'm now worried what actually it usually does and why i bought. It always go to green after 1 minute and the fan is working perfectly as i can see it. No dust at all in the filter for now. My Air quality may be too good as currently its 43 in my area but it didn't even catch those hair or dandruff dusts as supposed to be.

I believe you have the wrong idea when it comes to air purifiers. The purifier catches small dust particles and tiny micro pet hair which are floating in the air. These are micro particles which are caught by the purifier and trapped in the filter. If you place hair next to the purifier it will not move it. No purifier will. I suggest a good vacuum cleaner is better suited for your dandruff problem. The air purifier if set to auto will reduce the fan speed once the air quality is good and it will display a green light. When it detects micro dust particles or bad odour/fumes (such as cooking oil, chimney smoke etc) it will increase the fan speed. Hope this helps!

It's an Air purifier, not a vacuum cleaner :P For dandruff use Anti-dandruff shampoo and for other 'Visible" dirt/dust use Vacuum cleaner. For everything else, use common sense :P

Hello, as you said you have Airmega 150 also, can you please make a comparison between the two ? I would definitely buy it from your affiliate link. Also, what is the difference between the green hepa filter of airmega 150 vs this ? which one would you prefer(my room size less than 250sqft) The sharp FP-F40E-W has Hepa 14 filter but costs only 10K. what's your opinion ? I am really confused between the two Coways , Mi AP4 lite and the sharp .

Great question. For a 250 sq ft room I would suggest go for the air mega 150. I use that in my living room which is roughly 450sq ft and it purifies the air without any issue and pretty fast. Also the air mega 150 has a separate carbon filter which is thicker and better than the air mega aim as it can cover a larger area. Don’t go for the mi AP4 lite because that’s a budget friendly model. Instead go for the mi AP4 (the non lite version) If you prefer having the smart connect app. To be honest don’t overthink it. Go for either mi AP4 or the air mega 150. Both will perform well without any issues. The only difference between the two, the filter will last longer in the air mega 150 as compared to the mi AP4. It all boils down to personal preference and dimensions of the product based on where you want to place the purifier in the room. Regarding the sharp go-f40e-w I did a little research and that seems good but I couldn’t find the actual price of the replacement filter. I could only see third party offers and that’s a concern. Filters should be easily available and genuine. Both mi and Coway offer their replacement filters on Amazon and Flipkart. So do keep that in mind. Hope this helps. @@muscle__rr perfect. Go for the air mega aim. It’s at a good price. The only difference between the air mega aim and 150 is that 150 covers a larger area. For 250sq ft the air mega aim is sufficient. Grab the offer.

I also talked with coway executive and she said both aim and 150 has same coverage area and she insisted me to get the aim as it is the newer model and the original price of aim is 17K. I concur, Sleep mode is missing but regarding noise level it’s pretty similar to the other air purifiers.

I on the other hand have not faced any issue. I guess only time will tell as I have had this purifier for 2 months now and so far it’s performed pretty well. @stagestage2479 this is a very pathetic comment to be honest. if your light is changing continuously, that means you are opening your windows. An air purifier cannot purify the whole atmosphere. Or else you got a faulty one, just get it replaced.

He is right even I purchased this piece of shit [air purifier now using it as Desk Fan], in auto mode this purifier just keeps changing colour and does not indicate the actual air quality. Not 100 % sure if this air filter purifies.

LOL.. seems like a competitor's pathetic effort to tarnish Coway's reputation. I am using Coway for the past 4 years (replaced Hepa filters on a continual basis) and it is a gem & a genuine product to say the least.
