The ending of this movie makes me a little emotional. Because we all know that this is the last we'll see of Spike, the gang and the rest of the Cowboy Bebop world. The ending credits are a beautiful send off if you ask me. No matter what happens, life goes on.

exxinferis24 Possible, though personally I prefer to think that's all their looking at - blissfully ignorant to the fact that they all could have just died had it not been for the rain their going to bitch about. I think that gives more truth and honesty to the world of bebop. Nobody really gives a shit about your problems as they've got their own... even if they're problem is as simple as not expecting the rain. That's what I like to think is happening anyways, they could be looking at the butterflies though, it just doesn't feel as metaphoric.

I just realized something. The butterflies for Vincent symbolized whether or not he was alive or in said dream as he mentioned. Spike himself also tried to grab a butterfly, only to see it wasn’t there. There was that moment in ep. 26 where Spike stated he was going to fight Vincent, to see if he was truly alive. I wonder if the butterfly moment was tied to ep.26
