I met this band years ago at a record signing. I was so nervous to meet Margo Timmins because I love to sing all of their songs and she was my voice idol. When I came upon her signing, I told her how much I love her voice and how I like to sing their songs. She was so very gentle with my vulnerability. As well as many other encouraging words she said, “never give up singing“. I will never ever forget that. Years later I have started listening to them again wondering how I could’ve ever forgotten about this band. I am back singing their songs. Their vibe feels so amazing. So beautiful 💖 Feels like home for my soul.

In her prime, Margo Timmins was one of the best female singers in N.A. in any genre, and this may well be one of the 5 best debut albums for a basically unknown band. The Trinity Session is a top-25 rock/whatever you choose to call it album of my life time. I can only think of a few records to which I've listened more than this one...

I saw them at the Rivoli about 9-12 months before this came out. I was blown away. My friend was being recruited by BMG, so I went back stage after the show and told them to get in touch with BMG. The drumming is amazing - love the understatement.
