First heard this tune with the "real" dixie chix- before they gave up country. That bass player, Laura I think? sang lead and did the yodeling. I fell in love with the tune and that bass player all in one song! Great version here, but this young lady is way to young to "fall in love with"! But being older than her grandfather doesn't diminish her great performance!

She's very good and I like how she gave the yodeling part her own personal touch. "Cowboy's Sweetheart" has been the go-to yodeling song for female yodelers for decades. I particularly like the fiddler's performance.
