This is a 1967 COX GTM. The engine is based on a 1070 with a 1098 crankshaft. We started restoring it in 2011 and is still ongoing. The car was originally sold as a kit in 1967 and was registered in late 1968. The car is based on a mini. But, lots of parts are from a mk1 ford cortina GT. It has been painted in speedwell blue (most of the cars we have restored have ended up being blue). It has straight cut gears, hence the gearbox screaming at anything over 3000RPM. Hopefully, in 2023 we will be able to take it to the track day at Blyton Park. This is a very interesting and unique car as it is believed that around 55 kits were ever made. The body shape also closely resembles the Ferrari Dino. This car has also only had one previous owner.
