Lucy's family sucks, to be honest. Parents "ahem" grandparents show favoritism toward their children only. They were only interested in their kids' success because of that Lucy was feeling left out. They never seem to ask Lucy about her day. Especially at her birthday party, they ignore her on her special day. Seriously people she is your granddaughter at least make her feel not being left out. As for Jade, I can't find words. I know being a teenage mom can be scary and stressful, but it doesn't excuse her behavior, especially on her own daughter's birthday. She could wait until after the party to tell the news. But, no she has to be an attention seeker and make the day about herself. And destroyed Lucy's birthday. She even didn't deny that she was the favorite" Of course you are not the favorite child I am." Which means she has a huge ego. She only cares about herself and no one else. The last straw was when Andrien was the one telling the truth to Lucy instead of her family. When her "parents" were going to tell her the truth. Actually Jade is her real mom, not sister. The bitter truth is better than sweet lies.
