Lessons to be learned..... learn your language and honor your place on Mother Earth. This is a story that should only be told in the winter time.... please respect.

As children, my Great Grandparents & Nalie Mae told us these stories around the fire stove, using their hand gestures, voices, facial expressions & body movements... Later we got to see these videos. It was awesome, but doesn't compare to the imagination & beautiful memories our elders gave us 😊 Always be thankful for the teachings & blessings we receive from our elderlies. Remember & RESPECT our traditional teachings & taboos... Watch these stories until WINTER.

These little clips in Navajo remind me of my Great Grandma. They bring me great joy. I can fully understand, but I'm learning to speak my native language. Eventually I'll speak it.

I wish Navajo nation would put all our maii banane onto a site and ppl can learn and donate to teach our young children the values of our culture. It'd also be nice to have the movie Star Wars and Finding Nemo translated in Navajo on there.
