@@Nazareth69420 Nah, they didn’t. I have an almost original 03 out in the garage with 8000 miles on it. Owned it since it was new. Only Cobra badges on it were on the right and left fenders but in this cars defense most of the Terminator folks slapped the Cobra badge on it right after they got their cars, so its not an uncommon aesthetic.

@@Nazareth69420 No they didn’t. I have a completely stock 2003 and it has a pony. None of these cars came with the cobra symbol …if you find one it was added after the fact

What was these issues within the engine? Everything I've ever seen on em say the engine is way over built and the one place you likely won't have issues. The irs is another story completely lol. The t56 is great too once you throw in a 26 spline input shift they can handle some big power.

@@midnight347 yeah the heads had issues with the famous head tick. Ford was replacing one or both heads due to the valve guides. They would put a paint mark on the replacement head. I’ve only been told the timing chain tensioners are not very good, the replacement aftermarket is much better. But yeah the engine are nicely built with the rods, crankshaft, four valves per cylinder. Can make lots of power. Would definitely love another Cobra, maybe all original this time.

The 03 cobra engine was a bad mofo. They bad a built bottom end stock and have been known to take 800-1000 rwhp in stock trim stock short block. Pretty good for an old pos 4.6 from the early 2000s. I don't really see it as that much of an upgrade honestly. I can see swapping a 2v but I don't understand swapping a cobra. Coyote gts are everywhere I don't understand making a unique cobra just like everyone's coyote gt. Nothing against the coyote its a great engine I just don't understand putting one in a cobra. There's enough coyotes out there. I mean it's badass don't get me wrong but it could be just as badass with the 4.6 ecspecially if you built it. It'd built pretty stout from the factory. That is what makes cobras and gt500s cool is the fact that they have a wicked ass engine in them that is ford that ISNT a coyote. I get he got this car as a roller so I get why he did it but in general I wouldn't swap a cobra or gt500.
