This is loaded with infos, adventure and fun! First time to hear about Cozumel and checking this out with hubby for a future get away. I find it a bit standing there between the holes with water sprouting but would love to pose there for a picture/video. The coconut's bar location is fantastic. A great place for chillin'.

We met a local guy at the pier took us out on his boat for a snorkel tour. Don’t miss doing something like that, there is a spot that the sand is creamy white & all these starfish were sitting on the bottom of the ocean about 20’ it looked like someone had placed them there for decoration. Just beautiful 💙

Very good video. I live in Cozumel and I recommend Manny at C & M Rentals too. One more pro note…. If you do get the additional insurance, take a photo of it with your phone. If you have an accident or drop the bike, Manny never does this but I’ve seen other have, some rental companies will ask for your receipt and say they have to verify it. Then claim you didn’t buy any. Nearly all drops cost about $600-$900 if the plastic isn’t broken. They make a lot of money off moto drops. Next time your in Cozumel, send me a note. I’d love to round the island with y’all.

I so enjoyed this video! We are thinking about going to Cozumel for the first time. You mentioned snorkeling locations, my husband and I love that. Did you take your own gear? I'm wondering how to manage our gear on a scooter (I've never used one- but we thought we might use a scooter rather than a rental car)

Hey Pamela. There is storage under the seat and hooks for a bag between your legs. Plus, you can always where a backpack. We never have any issues taking everything we need for the day. So much more fun on a scooter (but you should have some experience driving one before this).

Thanks for the advice..I've been wanting to ride scooters in cozumel for a long time while cruising....there is some scooter by carnival dock but I don't know if they are the ones you recommend..the ship tells people not to rent scooters because of accidents but I'm a motorcycle rider so I thin I can handle it...I did not know about the road off to the right you was talking about ..thanks for the info.

Hi Wendy, thanks for checking out our video. Thats a tough question, some of the belongings can be stored in the seat of the scooter if thats your mode of transportation you can lock up the seat. Otherwise, just use a backpack and take it around with you.

Hi LJ. Scooter is up to you. It’s a little bit cheaper and a little bit slower but fun. Overall, the roads are not too busy.

You forgot to mention which is important, you can not drive a motorized vehicle on the outer drive that borders the coastline. They will ticket you. Also, I did this trip 35 years ago and just did it 3 times 4 weeks ago on a moped with my wife. I would not recommend Cendral. I paid zero for the moped, I only had to pay to fill up the tank at the gas station when I returned the bike, a whole 2 dollars.

Hi Sarah. All the beaches are free. If you visit a beach club (private beach area w food and drink service) you typically just need to buy something. Most do not have a minimum spend requirement.

Do you need a drivers license to rent a scooter???

Hi there MRk. You need a drivers license but not a motorcycle license. Having said that, if you aren’t real comfortable driving a scooter, you should probably rent a Jeep.

I don’t know what you think is good but the wife and I just went to the Corona bar today and is $12 to swim there or $18 in food. Not cheap at all. Also not very good snorkeling. We are staying at the Intercontinental El Presidente and have much better snorkeling at our hotel. Complete beach access. Lots of different fish and coral. The Corona bar doesn’t have much to see at all. I understand that it isn’t there fault but you make it sound amazing. Not. We also went to Coconuts and we’re not impressed at all. Maybe it’s because we are not alcoholics. It seems that everywhere is seriously geared toward drinking. I don’t drink at all and my wife has a drink occasionally. Sorry but there is more to life than drinking. The food was ok but service was lacking. Had to ask for our check from three different waiters. If they were slammed then I would understand. Cozumel is a great place. We will come back but not to visit the places that you recommended.

Just reading your comment about the video, we have also stayed at the Intercontinental- yes they have great snorkeling there. Not sure if I should be offended by your alcoholic comments- if you watch any of our Mexico videos you will see that my husbands go to drink would be Mexican bottled coca cola, and if I drink an alcoholic beverage its maybe 1 a week. So all of these stops that we suggested were to break up the trip around the island on a scooter and to take in the view and not to get drunk (especially not when you are on a scooter in Mexico)

Fantastic video!! I have a question though! I'm planning to visit Cozumel for the first time as an adult. Should I bring USD or bring Mexican Pesos? What's most widely accepted there? Would you recommend traveling at any certain time of year? We used to go around Easter.

Pesos for sure you can exchange dollars when you get there. From June- September extreme hot temperatures so avoid the summertime
