When I was a little girl and we went to Thanksgiving at my Grandparents one of our traditions was for all the grandkids and Grandpa and the Uncles would all go and cut down a tree for Christmas. Grandma and all the Aunts would be home getting things ready for the Thanksgiving feast. Cherish every moment. Your tree is beautiful.

Hi ALLISON! Your Christmas Tree was so pretty. I love that it is plump and I think it looks like a regular Christmas Tree. My favorite ornament from the haul was your wedding one of you and Brandon. Currently my family tree has different ornaments but when I have my own in the future, I would like to just do classic colorful balls. One of my favorite treats over this season is Christmas Crack. It is chocolate all crushed up with Carmel and other yummy things together. I really enjoyed the video. Have a good New Year!

I think even though it’s not a “traditional” Christmas tree it’s way more special because you guys had to find it and you cut it down yourself. Also, it’s way more sustainable that that tree is native to Florida and not being shipped from the north which contributes to CO2 emissions through transportation and its just not earth friendly. Thinking about it in that respect as well, you guys really do have the perfect Christmas tree for you. 🎄

Lovely vlog. Love that although your home is neutral, you are going for fun and colour for Christmas🎄😊. I have collected Christmas tree decorations from all my world travels, and have a few from my mum (our childhood tree) and my grandparents... I love the memories when we decorate them and my kids love hearing where they all come from!

I grew up in oregon (PNW) and going to the Christmas tree farm was such a fun tradition. In the PNW we have the best types of Christmas trees! I didn’t know how lucky I was until I moved to Colorado and it’s so dry here and no farms! Which is so sad because I have a 2 month old and this will be her first Christmas and picking/cutting our own tree would be such a fun tradition.
