Hi Linna! here is a tip for you when chopping walnuts,...heat the walnuts in the microwave for 15 seconds before you chop them,they will be moist and chop better and not fly away over your chopping board...works with any nut meat...give it a try...:)

I know, I know, I'm crazy! I have to stop your videos when I have a comment. My first comment is that you can make your own taco seasoning! It's so simple! Cumin, chili powder, paprika, onion, and garlic powder. So simple! And of course, salt. I live in Texas USA about three hours from Mexico 💜

Had to make time for your vlog between preparing for my husbands 40th birthday tomorrow :) It's always been a quiet relaxing time for me to watch your videos. A little break from the hectic mom life, so I want to thank you for that. 本当にありがとうございました。 Great seeing you cook from the curry cookbook you bought last time. It looks delicious. I wonder If I need to stop by that restaurant next time in Japan just to get the cookbook; by husband loves curry. Though he only knows Japanese carry.... I'm not that fond of coriander (i found out in Thailand I didn't like the taste) but I substitute with parsley and it usually works. So for anyone not liking coriander, perhaps try that :) I saw you buying the mozzarella balls. Have you ever made marinated mozzarella? It's so easy with oil, salt and a herb mix and it works great as a drinking snack as well as an addition to salads. Your such a diligent mom! I find keeping up with my daughter's school meetings is a lot already but you have to attend tutoring school meetings as well!

4:51 prices are going up because the problems of poor harvests or no harvests is impacting the agriculture sector so much. Either the planted crops in the ground drowned from floods or dried up then withered into dry stubs because of the droughts. Its topsy turvy roller coaster ride for everyone because the weather is chaotic. The prices going up is everywhere.

Yeah kind of made the mistake of taking the little miss with me to kaldi today. Let’s just say the basket was full of interesting things!! Like ohh mummy we get those in England when we stay with nanny!! So yes I had to get them lol. I have noticed prices are on the up. It’s not good for us is it. I have told my family to come visit soon as they will get more for their money. And no I can’t get the husband to change his eating habits lol.

Hello Linna , how are you ? I hope you are doing fine. You are a strong woman to carry all the food shopping , you should by a shopping cart. Here lot of people have one , i have a large one and put all my shopping in on saturday morning. With it ican do a bigger walk and go around even in the transportation. Coconut 's sugar is very good and better than the white or even brown sugar. We are using it all the time and i love iced coffee 😊 Please take care of you and of your men and have a nice Sunday.

Hi Linna, The negishio pork looks delicious! I'm going to save this video, so I have the receipt. I would love to make it one day. I'm curious if you have different types of leek. Because you talked about Chinese leek. But that leek looks just like the leek we have in Dutch grocery stores. I'm sorry that your hubby wasn't so enthusiastic about your new dish. I really hope that K and S were better supporters! It looked delicious! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Sending you lots of love from the Netherlands.❤🤗 🇳🇱

Sorry I am not sos use, but I call the white and green at the top Chinese chives, and the green thin one Chinese leek. It is confusing sometimes we use different name isn’t it 😅
@fionacollier7201
@fionacollier7201 2 ай бұрын
What they call Chinese leek in English is a large spring onion not a European leek, you could try it but would be a bit tough and not the same taste. I cook Korean food and it’s the same with their cooking. So just do lots of chopped spring onions
