I love to see how sentimental you are about all of your ornaments . You know where each ornament came from and the story behind Them . We live in times now where many people go out and buy all new ornaments every year . My younger niece told me once when I was putting up my old decorations that she didn't understand why I never bought new ones. Then she proceeded to tell me that I just didn't except change well . Love your videos .

The things you put out are like those my mom did 70 years ago. The family is gone and all the Christmas decorations are gone but watching you decorate brought so much back from memory. Best of all i have the Bible to read for my saviors birth and the praise and worship songs of Christmas. Jesus's promise to me is the best Christmas gift of all.

I had to smile when you was setting out the decorations on the lower shelves and I thought “next year you probably won’t be able to do that…. there will be little scooters and crawlers to get into stuff that’s sitting low” then you mentioned that at the end of the video. It will be so exciting for you! (We have a little one coming in April…. Our 5th grand baby)

Tipper, I love all your old world Santa’s and all the trees❤. These are a few of my FAVORITE THINGS. I NOW DO MORE SNOWMEN AND ANGELS. They can stay up longer in the winter season, along with all my decorative trees. You have a lot of really nice things to decorate with 💕🙏🙏 You and Matt are TRULY BLESSED receiving 2 new grand babies, next year. The truest blessing for my parents was 1980. My sister disappeared in November, 1978. Her body was found in June, 1979. My brother’s wife. And I announced that we were both with child, due in March of 1980. We both knew it was a gift from God’s Grace to help my parents and family members through this TERRIBLE, HORRIFIC tragedy and pain we were ALL going through. So again, know YOU ARE ALL, TRULY BLESSED 💕🙏🙏

Christmas decorating is my favorite kind of decorating! I tend to put favorite things in the same place year after year, as well. I taught for 33 years and when student's parents learn you collect certain things you get a lot to add to the collection, so I have a multitude of snow people. They are all very adorable and much appreciated, especially now that I'm retired. I love your collection, Tipper, because, like mine, everything has a memory attached to it. That seems to make it super special.

I always enjoy watching you decorate for Christmas. Love all your trees. You gave me the incentive to get our decorations out tomorrow. We got snow this morning in Massachusetts. About 3 inches. Just enough to enjoy and not enough to have to go out and shovel!

Yes, it's chilly and cloudy in southern WV today too!....I had put some leftover Shepherd's Pie Soup in the freezer a couple months ago with some crusty bread....it was just enough for me after work this evening, still tasted freshly made, very warming and filling, yum:) Merry Christmas to y'all!

@@CelebratingAppalachia Have Matt take one of your little card holder bases of wood and drill a small hole in the wood Find you a live branch from outside and stand it in the drilled out hole That could be your live tree for your Buffett So cute

@@CelebratingAppalachia you could do whatever sized base you needed to hold a bough I really like the use of the wooden base for various things Cut some various sizes and use them for risers to serve your pies and goodies from as a display Just so cute and utilizing things from nature

I love your enthusiasm, about Christmas! We used to decorate a lot but in the last 5 years we’ve migrated to my daughter’s house. We still put up a tree and Santa visits for my granddaughter. It’s easier at her place. She has the big house. My wife still cooks and I bake. Things have evolved over the years

Love seeing how you decorate your home, I think a small live tree would look nice with your collection of trees. I recently saw a rosemary tree at my local grocery store that was table top size. It was actually trimmed in a Christmas tree shape, so pretty!

The Santa in the car with the broke corner, you could hot glue some fake garland around the bottom and no one would ever know. That way you could face it any way you want to. Merry Christmas 🎄!

It has been so long since I heard the word, buffet, and when you used it to refer to that piece of furniture, it brought back the memory of my Grandmother. She had a beautiful buffet. Usually that was where the food was displayed when we had a huge meal and/or celebration and the table was filled and no more room. Love your Christmas display and I have to say, that your tree with the deer antlers is a first for me. I remember last year and as my Husband was watching this year I told him and wondered if it was gonna be there again this year...lo and behold, Matt did it. God Bless and Praying for Granny still.

The Christmas tree that Corey made, on the back of your door, reminds me of a Native American item that would be used to ward off evil spirits and bring in good ones. I'm glad you kept it.

I enjoyed seeing your Christmas decorations. Each one has a story and that’s what I love. This Christmas will be our 53rd wedding anniversary and it almost seems unreal that many years have gone by. We put the cake topper from our Wedding cake under the tree. We get sloppy sentimental and hug and cry. Then as our children were growing up there were many ornaments and such that still mean a lot to us all. I had a wooden Nativity Scene with figures that could be moved. I went in one day to turn the tree lights on and happened to look down at the Nativity Scene and my son had placed Chewbacca and Luke Skywalker standing by the baby Jesus! It’s now a sweet memory of mine. Merry Christmas to you and your family Tipper!

I think the ornaments we had for40,or 50 or more yrs each tell a story.I have lost& giving alot to friends& family,but have alot still.All my memories are out& telling a story. It's the same with my normal decorations. Peace on earth..good will toward men. God Bless!🤗💒🌬❄☃️🌲💚

In the first seconds of this video, and intermitently later, I spotted a turkey platter hanging on the wall behind you. Unless my old eyes deceive me, it is the exact same one Mom-mom served her turkey on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. So, not only did I enjoy your Christmas decorating, but a small place in my heart was touched by the coincidence of the two platters. No where else on KZfaq does this kind of occurrence happen for me except on your channel. Thank you!

Your whole family and the community as a whole are great at making things so with 2 grandchildren on the way your husband could look at building 2 cribs or 2 rocking horses and also quilted baby blankets and mobiles that dangle above the crib are easy to make.......People get so excited about babies you will have people you barely know knitting baby booties and things like that.

Thank you for sharing this!! I love holiday decorations, and especially hearing about the what's and why's of special items. I haven't decorated for the holidays for 25 years now. All those decoration changes (every month, it seemed) were taking over my life. I quit when my daughter was 13. No one seemed much interested anymore. I decided to start doing things that were fulfilling to me personally. It was a good decision for me (all of us, really.) But I still LOVE to see the holiday work of others!! 🌷

It’s all so beautiful Tipper. You are so very blessed. I know you’ll miss Ms. Cindy and I’m sure you are worried about your Mom. I still continuously pray for all of you. Please, if you can, say a little prayer for me. I’m so sad this year. I miss my family so much. I don’t even feel like decorating. I know I’m blessed and the season isn’t about me but my heart just aches. So, if you could send some good thoughts my way I would really appreciate it. Love all your pretty Christmas decorations I've seen lots of home tours on KZfaq where people go out and buy new things and have different themes every year they are pretty but they don't have the sentimental cozy warm feeling your home does

I was thinking about how next Christmas your decorations will need to be child proof. I have an almost 1 year old an 4 year old grandchildren. It is so much fun to see their delight in the Christmas decorations. The 1 yo likes a dancing/ singing snowman I bought this year. She loves all the lights twinkling too. I enjoy all your trees.

My ornaments bring back memories too. A child made at school, one was given to me. I made some. Bought on our many trips. I like you go through those wonderful memories every year while decorating. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
