Welcome to a Cozy Hang Out Writing Vlog, friends! As some of you may know, my first book comes out May 21st! It is a wellness book with magical little rituals that talks about the importance of healing and connecting to our cultural roots. I was asked by my publisher to do some last minute proof reading and I decided to take you along on a cozy writing day as I get this done + chat with you about bookish stuff!
I also take a trip to my local Barnes & Noble on a rainy day to just peruse around and I unexpectedly find a book that still had a week before its initial pub day!! And its a book that I was highly anticipating to read! So thats exciting! This is a slow paced, cozy writing video where we will just hang out together! So I hope that you enjoy this video!

I grew up in an Italian American household and whenever we needed to use the oven it was a process to take every pan, mixing bowl and baking sheet out first just to re-heat some pizza for like 5 min lol! Our dishwasher never worked and that's where the Tupperware was kept.

Hahaha I love that!!! I love to reminisce on these little traits and moments. They are just so heartwarming to remember. In my household, the oven isn’t used as often, only for certain meals or holiday meals. So the pots and pan in our oven builds up as storage lol 😅

@@alifeofpoetryI told my mom how you were reminding me of this and she told me it’s because her mom would store everything in the oven! Just like you said. Random habits handed down.

I really loved The Benevolent Society of Ill-mannered Ladies. I listened to it in November and the narration was fantastic as well. The Language of Thorns is a beautiful book. It's full of gorgeous illustrations and folktales from the Grishaverse. Your copy if Carmilla is beautiful. 😍

Ok that is good to know! I think I’m going to pick up the Benevolent Society of I’ll Mannered Ladies. I’m going to look on my Kindle or Libby to see if it’s available! I’ve only read Ninth House and seen the spin off adaptation of her books Shadow & Bone but I definitely want to read more Leigh Bardugo and get more invested in the Grishaverse! Hi Eden! I show the entire process on my video from last year titled, “November Reset” ! This was such a fun and fairly easily project to do! I initially did these for the holidays and decided to just keep them up after because I loved how they looked! 😍
