Need to make the $$, need to move so many things I’ve made, need to make supplies dwindle down, and then give myself room to grow by trying new things. Yes, baking soda works too. I bought this salt wash to try and I like it too. I also have some of the Fusion salt spray texture that I got on clearance for $6 and it works great too, but the baking soda is the cheapest and most accessible.

The last project you made with the lovely month pictures made me gasp, I have the book those came from! It's called The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden. I got mine when my great grandmother passed on, as it was a book the two of us used to read and look at every time we'd visit them. I'm a little torn as I'm not fond of destroying books for art but the image you chose does look wonderful in the frame!

On your coasters...I've found that many inks, even high-end craft inks, will bleed on surfaces that are not sealed first. Those 'coaster' boards are very porous and may be made from wood that reacts a lot like paper does, so when you stamped them and re-wet them with anything, they bled. If you are unsure about if it is going to bleed try one with whatever ink you are going to use. If it bleeds, cover that side with the cork and flip it over and seal the wood and try again. I've tried high-end and cheap inks and they can all do this to some degree. It's very frustrating. I love these projects! Yes, please on how/what you do in your booth.

OMG the smearing of ink/paint drives me crazy. Also I do a lot of my crafting at night so going outside to spray is a no go. I'm too impatient to wait until the next day so I end up smearing b/c I just use the brush on stuff. I need to learn haha Glad you left in your mistakes - always good to see so we all know we're the same and make the same goof ups haha Anyway, those looked so cute!
