CP Rail's purchase of the D&H included trackage rights to Philadelphia. They initiated intermodal trains that terminated on Delaware Avenue in South Phila. where containers were handled right in the street until the new intermodal terminal was built a few years later. The initial sequence shows one of these trains being built. The second sequence is of a D&H "heritage" unit switching the Navy Yard and the piers, as well as Conrail and CSX trains in the area. The third segment shows an RS-18 switching the piers with a caboose in the train. Video dates from 1992 to 1999.
