As a side note here, the dude that did the Swedish version (Stefan Ljungqvist) is an actuall opera singer.

The Finnish version is very powerful, and it uses terms like 'saatana' (should be self-explanatory what that means) straight up with no padding. The great voice actor and singer behind that version, Ossi Ahlapuro, died a couple days ago. His voice was a big part of my childhood. May his soul rest in peace 😭

The lyrics often are changed a little to fit the soundtrack. A literal translation often doesn´t fit or sounds bad

In the Dutch version, Frollo is voiced by an opera singer! Also, the man who voices the Dutch Clopin is *spectacular.* When he hits that high note - goosebumps.

All the other voice actors were very great in singing frollos part. Its actually pretty awesome.

I love, love this song! It's beautiful in all languages but for me the best versions, counting both the interpretation and the suitability of the voice to the role are (without putting a ranking) : Italian (I'm Italian, so I often root for the versions in my language, but the Italian Frollo for me is really apt)! Russian Swedish Norweigian Polish But also in Castilian, Catalan, Danish, German, Greek, Latin Spanish, Maly, Mandarin, portugues, Korean, and turkysh they did a great job!
