idk how much comment reading you are doing anymore but… i love those clone service weapon videos that you have been doing, can’t wait for the next. but what i also think would be really interesting is that same concept applied to idk how to put it… civilian ar15 culture? i am very new to all this but i am the type of person who wants to learn everything i can about the evolution of a hobby. in one of your shorts you mentioned that you had one of these ak variant type rifles back in the 90s because of the assault weapons ban and i don’t know stuff like that is so interesting to me. best!

Awesome‼ 1st Point: I tell people, if your going to Study something, especially if your paying or going out of state, etc., Learn who the Teacher / Trainer is before you give them your Time / Money. This is a Quality Video, with Excellent Teaching / Training! I’ve never knew who Phil was (but I do now), nor his skilled student, but I can recognized that this video certainly deserved Studying! I think that for me, as an ER physician / Shooter who also teaches TCCC, this presentation deserves Watching, Studying, WRITING some Notes (important for neuromuscular transfer) on 4” x 6” Index Cards, ➡Dry Firing, then walking down to an old barn I have on the property to send some Rounds Downrange. Live Fire really demonstrated to me just how exceptional this video and the Teaching / Training of both gentlemen really was! I came back up from my barn range, watched it again, and I can’t wait to go down later today and run the same drills again. Each time I Watch, I Analyze, make some notes, then Dry ➡Live Fire ➡ Repeat, until this small piece of the pie “Lives for me”. in The End,, I will incorporate key pieces into my own TCCC Teaching / Training to others. Thank you both‼ ⚕🇺🇸

watching a ton of interviews from dudes that did a ton of cqb throughout gwot, they all say high ready is better. some of the army sof guys said they had to use low ready because of the catwalks in training, high ready would have meant flagging people. but they adjusted to high ready later down the line. so many have said this that it seems universal. from cag to devgru to oda to e4 mafia grunts

Awesome video. Simple instruction, letting the student do the work, self analyze, and then be taught. That's how it should be and guys like this are who I would take a class with. You see too many other videos these days, even from guys with legit experience, that still can't really teach because they're more focused on hearing themselves spew a bunch of fancy faux-scientific phrases they came up with for walking, looking, shooting and moving.

Hey guys, thanks for the video. I have a question: In the first or second drill, when you are shooting the first threat, in a real-time scenario, the second guy will just spam the wall, right? What's the better option at this point, since you have made noise and already killed one? Do you really keep pieing the door? The team should rush in as soon as there is one killed to keep the surprise effect, or just back off?
@jacobquatkemeyer3823
@jacobquatkemeyer3823 2 ай бұрын
This doesn't answer your question, but I think it's still good info. Most of the time, people won't shoot at something they are unable to see. Studies show that people often won't even fire through something like dry wall or convenient store shelving even if they know their target is behind it, so concealment can oftentimes be treated the same as cover.

Make it seem a little bit more realistic.. all the shout outs to the companies for the discount codes r unnecessary to the man who's just trying to learn how to clear a house with whatever he has at the ready. when you run a drill and go bolt locked, im not saying you don’t do it or don’t practice it but you should stay on the drill, stop step back reload and keep going through it, just speaking from experience. i shoot at my land and i was doing the same i would get frustrated with myself for forgetting my round count and would stop the drill reload and restart the drill, i went over to train with my buddy at his land (he is ex delta) and he caught me, i was subconsciously creating a bad habit and when doing a cqb drill with him and his other vet buddies i was the #2 we had a 5 man team i went bolt locked, stopped and fucked everyone up in the door way. in a real like situation i would have gotten myself and 3 others maybe even 4 others killed if the #1 guy walked in to a corner of a 3 man jerk party by creating that bad habit without even thinking if it even though i practice bill drills

If you open the door on the left, it opens to the right. 😂 So you can't see anyone in the right corner, the door blocks the view for some time. The door also blocks if one is standing in the right corner. But then you still don't see him, because he is behind the door. It's not enough to just open the door, you have to slam it open. Just turning the knob doesn't open the door. This is not realistic training. You turn the door knob and push the door firmly open with your AR. Then you take a few steps back and wait until the door is fully opened, to clean the right corner.

53:59 it doesn’t matter how weak we are with our no dominant hand. It’s do or die. Make it happen if you’re serious about this shit. It 100% a thing to learn with your non dominant just not everyone has the drive.
