CR&R Newport Beach Ford F750 PakMor RL manual collection.

4 жыл бұрынI was driving through Newport Beach after hearing about a manual route. Manual collection is rare in this area because Newport went automated back in 2014. Around 3 PM I found this Pakmor getting ready for its route. The route is a row of condos along Bayside Drive. I believe this route is manual due to the HOA. Bayside is a very beautiful park of Newport and is quite enjoyable to film in. Enjoy the old school Newport style trash collection!

i driven on that road many times, I never thought it was still manual,I remember when newport beach was manual at my grandmas house it was a front loader and one day it was a pack mor and the guy let me pack!

dudeman 614 that’s so neat you got to do that! Yeah this row of condos is next to balboa island on bayside drive. Really fun to watch, it reminded me of how Newport used to be!

dudeman 614 CR&R retired some, and sent quite a few to other yards, and even used/ are using some for collection in Newport.

@@theghtrashman1978 Most rear loaders got a new chassis like the one in the video which I‘m pretty sure is an ex-city unit and they still collect the Newport rear loader routes and the front loaders got sent to other CR&R yards and now do commercial. All trucks except 2025 (old Volvo FE) where bought by CR&R (that was part of the contract for CR&R to obtain the old city trucks) to use for in Newport or other cities.
