Crab curry is a delicious sea food recipe. This is easy to make with some freshly grated coconut and some spices.. Enjoy this Curry with freshly cooked white rice as well as boiled rice..!!
Ingredients
3 - large Crabs
7-8 - cloves
4 tbsp - coconut oil
1- onion ( finely chopped)
1 cup - grated coconut
2 tbsp - red chilli powder
1 tsp - turmeric powder
1 tbsp - fried coriander seeds
1/2 glass - water
7-8 - Malabar Tamarind (ring shape)
salt to taste
Method
1) Clean the crabs by separating the legs first and then take off all the waste from the crab as shown in the video
2) Take a small pan and fry cloves with little oil and then add it to the mixer or grinder
3) To this add grated coconut along with red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander seeds, chopped onions and water and grind into smooth paste.
4) Take a Kadi/ curry bowl add coconut oil and fry chopped onion well and add the crabs into it
5) Pour the prepared masala into the kadai and add water if necessary to make the masala mixture lighter. make sure the crabs are well soaked into the gravy
6) Now add tamarind and salt according to taste and bring it to boil for 2 -3 mins.
7) Serve it hot white rice or boiled rice..!!
