@@Simon-gc6ufFleet troopers are one of the few non-empire units I have considered buying, they're just that cool. And I agree they really do need some kind of update. Maybe when they come out in hard plastic?

One thing to point out is that advanced targeting is MAY use. So I see the DLT-20A still getting use because it’s basically split fire and no free aim token or don’t split fire and get a free aim token, you pick every time they fire.

Yup - May is nice since it gives you the choice - but I suspect more often than not, you'll opt to use their ability since it's kinda why you bring them.

@@Crabbok the DLT will also find use agents troops that have amour such as B2's and Dark troopers, so you'll be able to use the and and impact (i think, still very new to legion)

If Crosshair use his weapon in the same pool as the rest of the Bad Batch, he will loose High Velocity. High Velocity works only if the weapon that has High Velocity is the only weapon in the attack pool. But if everyone make only one attack pool, the attack will stil benefit from pierce 1 and precise 1.

Crosshair its a non shooti sniper, you cant snipe with him cause he throw ONE DICE a mini in heavy cover, crosshair will have 25% chance of cause a wound what its counterintuitive to the sniper role

You're assuming there's no other way to raise the sharpshooter value. We haven't seen other members and what free actions they may grant the unit, and we haven't seen any commands cards that might grant boosts or even permanent effects.

Never love tactical rocks but I’m super happy we’re getting a new Obi-Wan in his ROTS Jedi robes! It always bugged me having anakin and Rex & Cody, phase 2’s but not having an obi wan to match. Think with all the new prequel era stuff coming I’m really excited to get back into the game more after a massive break from it.

I just ordered my first ever wargaming core set yesterday (the clone wars core set). Also bought some of the recommended paints from many youtubers (mainly GW paints) excited to get started and hopefully not ruin the minis.

Just because something has simple rules doesn't mean that there is less focus on gameplay. On the contrary, making a good set of streamlined rules takes a lot more work and experience than just pulling a bunch of unnecessarily complex ones out of your midichlorians.

Republic Commandos are going to make me start collecting GAR. They were my last hurdle for that faction. Range troopers look fantastic! I'll probably be picking them up at some point. I am super hyped for the Bad Batch! A full unit as an operative feels really cool. They already looks fairly strong, and we're missing much/most of their info. For Rebels, I would venture to say that they can't take Crosshair, like GAR can't take Omega. We're Not Regs doesn't make any sense for the Rebels, so it'll be interesting to see what their Merc card looks like.

Overall all looks great. Especially emperial Riot Control and Clone Comandos. The only thing I don't like is Grievous' new sculpt. His original sculpt looked perfect, he was just a bit too small. The new one in the clone wars design lacks too much detail and looks overall weird next too the life action inspired models.

The Jedi attachment can be attached to the ARF troopers and the ARC troopers. Will Schick mentioned it multiple times in the stream.

Ok, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. But I want to see those Riot Troopers in Special Operations! They look fire and would make a mad little squad to run! I'm also buying that Bad Batch box to run them in Special Operations as my Clone Unit. They'll just be counts as.

The face is not as close to Obi's IMO, some of the AMG sculpts are pretty incredible to make them look as much like the actor as they do.

I'm excited to finally be getting random jedi into the game. It's going to be interesting how they follow up with them. I was never a fan of the bad batch so I don't how this will play into build if I get it at all but the commandos will be in lists moving forward.

@Crabbok Im thinking about getting into Legion soon, and wanna get the Clone Wars base set, the Seperatist Invasion Force and multiple Phase 1 packs but now im unsure if i should wait for the reprints/resculpts for Kenobi and Grievous... what do you think? Dont wanna spend hundreds of Euros and then see that they are selling everything in higher quality...

For Clone Commandos "Complete the Mission", do you place a single token per squad or just 1 no matter how many squads you have? Can the commandos benefit from other allied Clone Commandos' tokens?

My assumption is they wanted a new grevious for them to do a refresh on the starter set, obviously when everything is hard plastic it couldn't make sense to keep making soft plastic starter sets, and while the old grevious is good, it makes for another reason to pick one up if you have a new grevious sculpt in it, particularly if they plan on keeping the droid forces the same, though i do think with grevious they may want to make changes for the box to be worth buying for preexisting players for anything but hard plastic republic sculpts

@@lucky-lu6tc almost EVERYTHING in the CIS range is hard plastic, so any and everything you get outside of I think doku and maybe ventless (I own neither) will be hard plastic, the CIS invasion box is an excellent box, the problem with it is that it contains to many b1s, if you also bought a starter set, so I would reccomend the invasion set, but if you want to collect both CIS and republic I would suggest the starter set and holding off on any extra phase 1 clones, maybe getting phase 2 clones to proxy as phase 1s so you are free to. Choose which way to go when phase 1s hit hard plastic (phase 2 are already hard plastic)

Dont worry, ive already built teo armys in an online builder and know which boxes to get, watched many videos and read lots about SW legion ^^ So you recommend mw to get the Invasion box and hold back for the rest? (If they redo in boxes as well Grievous i will get him anyways in the clone wars starter box)

@@calebbarnhouse496 The 2 armys (wanna play with Girlfriend and friends) if you are interested (cards/most upgrades not included: GAR: Obi Wan 4 Phase 1 with Z-6 2 Phase 1 with DC-15 2 BARC-Speeder with RPS-6 Gunner CIS: Grievous 6 B1s 1 Magna Guard with Electro-Whip 1 Droidekas 1 Trade Federation Battle tank Some thoughts: BARC Speeders for enemy tank and Droidekas, very important to keep them into the late game 6 Phase 1s for a massive and fun GAR gunline with many activations and throws via Z6-s Obi Wan decked out devensively to ptotect gunline CIS will try to soak up damage with Droidekas/B1s to get Grievous and Magma Guard close and into the GAR gunline/Obi Wan Tank for long range support and massive fire power Huge activation list For this i will need 1 Clone Wars Starter Set 1 CIS Invasion force 1 BARC-Speeder 4 Phase 1 sets And the usual sets for playing SW Legions like the better missions, more dice, etc Later down the line i wanna get the 501s Set, Phase 2s, and Clone Commandos for GAR and Ventress, Count Dooku and Spider Droid(s?) for CIS :)

A new edition would be okay, I guess, as long as they don't pull the GW shenanigans of the three-year cycle (a new edition just to sell more books, etc.), and as long as I can still use my existing collectiion of minis. An updated card pack (maybe a pack for each faction) to represent the 'new' units would be a good move. The "new edition" could be something as simple as collating all the changes/errata into a single volume. New editions are only justified when there are changes to the basic mechanics. Look at Battletech. Still on 1st edition after 40 years!

I hope we get options for the generic Jedi to get all kinds of races and genders. My OC is a zygarian female and I can’t find a decent print to use for her. I know it’s unlikely, but a girl can dream
