Krennic's one pip card would be so much better if you could select the three order tokens, rather than them being random.

Cunning on Darksaber Maul is the issue. Three turns of guaranteed priority with a force user would be broken.

My brother plays Kenobi exlcusively, and has used the General Kenobi card quite successfully when he's sitting on an objecitve near the center of the board, has some clones there for extra unit leaders, and since he runs Phase 1s he needs the surge results. And with Battle Meditation he can pass his token to another clone squad. Add Force Barrier and Guardian 3, and you've got a good reason to keep clones near him

The general Kenobi card is from the days of the clone wars when the Jedi would stand next to or in front of the clones blocking attacks and being an extra layer of defense. Great point that the way the clones share tokens changed and even the way Jedi are used with republic, think these are two big reasons Kenobi a three pip is underwhelming. The grievous cards are even worse and I hate it, I really like grievous as a character but not that much in legion games, his one pip is his only great card and even that requires setup to get good value

Your #1 is spot on for me. I am a huge Rex fan. I used him so much. I won so many games from Rex's 2 pip. I always took a sqd. every time. I teamed him up with the clone commander and used fire support with that card.

I see where you're coming from on most of these, but I almost did a spit take when you said clones "were almost viable."😂 I think that tournament lists and results pretty clearly demonstrate that they are currently the most dominant faction in the game. Sadly, Rex just isn't a part of that equation anymore, and he does deserve some love after Adepticon. Thanks as always for the Legion content!

I disagree with Voracious Ambition and Supreme Commander being here quite a bit, I get that Voracious Ambition doesn't have some kind of powerful ability like some other 1-pips do, but the fact that Krennic has Cunning is where the card's value comes in. When run with other characters, it is a near sure fire way to get priority, while also not being terrible for order control due to the card effect. As for Supreme Commander I think the real value lies with both Magna Guard and your other droids using the guardian for other units. Moving your magnas in with Greg and getting orders to them with this card allows them to take up to 4 off of him and this includes when in a melee. Another use case I have seen is you can use it to give your b1s or magnas the ability to guardian Black Sun Enforcers, making it even easier to move them safely into grenade range. General Kenobi I think is okish, but I find that it is quite easy to get the surges. In my opinion, due to Kenobi's extreme defensive tech, he is most effective standing in his clone lines as opposed to going in and chopping. His melee is really not that impressive and his ability to Guardian and Barrier shots on clones means that often times enemies need to make 8+ hits to even force 1 save. The crazy amount of surges on Obi makes it safer to Guardian without dodge access. Also if Padme is in the list it will often effectively give your whole army full surge both ways for the round.

24:40- Yup, I agree with this one as well. It falls under the same thing with Obi-Wons card from earlier. If they changed a few things on it then maybe it would be good for the 1st or 2nd round. But that’s it!

I've actually found the Krennic 1-pip (Voracious Ambition) to be really handy! I run a Krennic / Gideon list with 2 units of Dark Troopers and 2 units of Death Troopers, and most of the time, I get at least one of each in that little sub-stack given by the card. combined with the free orders given by Krennic and Gideon with entourage, and I usually have almost perfect order control using this card!

boy when i bought K2SO i thought his 3 pip would be insane but i couldnt tell you the last time ive tried to run it ive used it three or four times it's never worked and i run Cassian/K2SO lists all the time and i just use Lando or Jyn with them to fill my command hand. Palpy's three pip works if you have battle meditation on him.

general kenobi 3 pip its amazing with Anakin, literally you can have an anakin with over 9 surges make all the army most durable

I like running bossks one pip in a contingency hand for if things go wrong

On witch magic you skipped over the remove tokens part. Very good in a magna whips or boba whip meta.. You can heal up and get rid of negative effects.

The grevious card is amazing. You get guardian. Not guardian commander. So you can keep your squads live on objectives. It will daisy chain to make most of your army have orders

General Kenobi has good synergy with Exemplar and was good choice while clone has unlimited token sharing

22:17- Yup. And at worst case scenario if you had some other card that had you put down 3 orders on core this card is still better. Because you put 3 orders down on 3 specific core, great. But what about the 4th or the 5th or even the 6th? If the orders are already on the board then if something that you weren’t expecting (which happens more than anyone would ever admit) then you can’t just move that order token to one of those other units! But while it’s on this card you can put it wherever you want! And that is at worst case scenario!

Good list overall. I have to disagree with a few of your choices and statements. Witch Magik is amazing. You have to be cagey with force users and Maul in particular, but if you give him burst of speed which I would recommend even if you don't need the health you can drop the immobilization tokens if you need to for objective play etc. Voracious Ambition is a 1 pip for a cunning character that by itself makes it great, but since you want to skew your list to have a lot of core usually with him you use entourage on one of your death troopers and you pretty much have full order control which is clutch when you are going first. Gar Saxon's card isn't great but is fine as a 2 pip. He is either near other Mando's since you should run him with the rocket or by capos who are fine getting the order and passing the dodge to the pykes troopers. Galactic Republic currently is top of the meta. While Rex isn't included in those lists the faction as a whole is really strong right now.

29:22- Yeah, that one is pretty bad also. I don’t think I’ve ever used it! Mainly because if I want a long range weapon I would add a sniper team!

21:11- I definitely don’t agree with this one as well! Being able to control “more” of what you can and can’t do is a good thing! I don’t see how this is at all bad!?! I don’t use this card every time I have him in my list! But I do “most” of the time. It has helped me out a lot in many games where I needed to get a unit or a few units to go 1st 2nd and 3rd or else I was going to lose more then I could afford to lose! But is also one of those “if the dice is or isn’t on your side” kind of things! If it works out, it is a killer and sometimes is a game changer. When it doesn’t work out, then you look at it like “why on earth did I add that card”! But if we’re going by just that logic then a lot of those cards you put on your “best card list” video would also be trash!!! And yes, if you have Death Troopers close enough to him then those are free orders! Key word is “free”! So you already have 1 on Krennic and 1 or maybe 2 on Death Trooper units but you also have 3 more that you are not locked down to who they can be on after you put them down! So instead of having to put 1 Oder on Storm Trooper unit 3 and finding out in the second turn of that round you should have put it on Snow Trooper unit 2 you can actually choose in that moment!!! Plus with how expensive Death Trooper units are in points naked unless you don’t use more than 1 commander and no expensive commanders or Operatives I doubt many list will have 2 Death Trooper units, let alone more!!! Even though you “could” have 4!!! I wouldn’t put it in “the best command cars” list. But I definitely wouldn’t put it here either!

I'm surprised Chewie's 1 or 2 pip weren't at least mentioned. Especially his 1 pip. Basically no effect without Luke, and Chewie + luke do not synchronize together at all, either Luke.

3:23- Yup, already don’t agree! Obviously it would go by someone’s play style! But I’m any situation where you need certain units to go 1st 2nd 3rd and sometimes so on then being able to do that with all your units is killer! In my opinion, it’s definitely better than a card that ends up taking away a action from a unit or multiple units!!!

Obis 3 pip is way to old. The changed the clone Token charing but forget this card... the result, more tokens then you need.

23:33- Lmao If I made a list of 1 pips that are not like you just said I could only imagine how long that video would be!?! A 1 pip is meant to do something for you that “you” can use to win the game or round and also give you the best chances of going first when you think you need to go first! And just because someone doesn’t know how to use this card to benefit them doesn’t change that this card does at least the first one. Maybe not as good as others. But nowhere near as bad as others also. And it still does the second part also. Unless your opponent also throws down a 1 pip. But I’m pretty sure this guy has a keyword to help with that!?! But I’m not certain about that because it’s been awhile since I’ve even used the Empire. And even longer since I’ve used him in a Empire list!?!

I feel like if they changed the surge tokens for dodge or aim tokens “and” they made it where he can also share tokens with Clones or at least give you the option of what green tokens you want for each friendly unit and he can share tokens with Clones then it could be a awesome 1st or 2nd round card! But not so much in the 4th 5th or 6th rounds!!!

Yeah, there are a few I can agree with and the rest I’ll just Agee to disagree! Because it was almost like you were splitting hairs. But also using the same excuse why one card is great in the last video and now your using the same thing to say that proves this card sucks! More or less it just tells me what cards you don’t know how or when to use them to help you and/or what cards that have been used against you that you just hate seeing! Which is fine. I hate 1 of Hans cards and 1 of Sabine Wren’s cards also! But I wouldn’t go out of my way to say they are horrible so no one plays them again me anymore! But it’s not my channel.
