Absolutely. The maximum difference in NET and JRF cutoff probably will be of 10 marks, that's 5% of the total marks. And if you study under a proper guided path then you can surely achieve it.

Aspirants who pursue a masters with a minimum of 55% marks can apply for CSIR OR UGC NET Exams. As you pursued M.Tech, you can appear in both exams.

Not necessary. In GATE PH, most of the questions are short and conceptual whereas, in NET, questions have a bit lengthy calculations.

Very nice suggestions sir. Sir how the cut off marks are varying with the number of candidates apearing. Whether it is increasing or decreasing. Can you predict the cutoff range for this 2020 Csir net physical science.

Thank you. This will be the first time that number of candidates will drastically increase. The seats will remain more or less the same. So according to me the cutoff for CSIR 2020 will be quiet high i.e. around 110 to 115 JRF for the general category. Or in turn, the difficulty level may increase keeping the cutoff the same. Yes, M.Tech in Power Systems High Voltage Engineering candidates are eligible for the CSIR NET exam. Those candidates who have completed a master's degree from a recognized university are eligible for the CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in a master's degree. For SC/ST candidates it's 50% and above in masters degree. Your age should be below 28 years. www.csirhrdg.res.in
