I saw them July 27th 1977 @ the Palace on rte. 40 in Baltimore. Root Boy Slim and the sex change band opened for them. I was 15 years old and I couldn't believe they let me in the place. To this day still my favorite concert. I still have the stub.

I was there....I was only 18 myself. Saw them 3 other times afterward. Great band, should've got much bigger than they did.

I used to get a sort of thrill when I'd find the crack the sky bin at record stores back in the day, they were there, proof they existed. See that, they are a real band.

Saw them 2 weeks ago at Club 66, still the great band that I saw in 1980 at Coast to Coast!!!!

I am the guy who drew them all together as they look now. The are auctioning of copies signed by the band to give the proceeds to ST. Judes Hospital. I have lived in Texas the past thirty years and play their music all the time. Love these guys...saw them at Hammerjacks and Painters Mill back in the day. I'm from Edgewood 1974 grad

I had a bootleg cd from this concert and I lost it. CTS was a great band since late 70s. I played this incessantly for 6 months back in 79.

Just saw them Friday night at Club 66 in Edgewood. John looked really beat...but still put on one hell of a show!!!

I saw them perform this at the Cleveland Agora in the 70s. It really was special to hear it done so well live. I was surprised at how good it sounded. Few performances stand out in my mind, especially 35 years later.

One of my favorite bands, ainc ethe ‘y0s. Saw them live back in their prime. STILL a brilliant band today! Not many could pull this song off well.

I discovered them while living in Aberdeen Maryland back in 1978. I wish I had seen them live back then, I would still love to see them live today.

Bryan, as a life-long resident of Baltimore, Maryland (except for the 15 months that I resided in South Korea, courtesy of Uncle Sam) I saw Crack The Sky on a multi-billed show opening for Boston......the lads were quite clever!!

You can still see them 2-3 times a year around Baltimore and sometime into PA. They just opened for Boston ( first time they were together again in like 40 years ) last year at Pier 6. Awesome concert though they got cut short of time...

NORMALLY, I am insulted by the audacity of ANYONE who attempts a John song. It's always pathetic and repellent. But, these boys maintained the integrity of the song (straight string/horn lift) while updating the ROCK of it with tasteful-tubey guitars. I liked it. It didn't hurt my feelings. I was ROCKING to it!! Good job.

Excellent job! I wish Mr. Palumbo / Lifesong Records would release earlier CTS on CD... without deleting any tracks... these guys rock!

I remember hearing a LIVE cut of these guys doing "I am the Walrus", on "MMS back in the 70's, but there was a section where the guitars were mimicing the cello parts, all in feedback!! it was fantastic!! Would anybody remember, or have THAT particular cut available? it sounded even better than this one ( which i'm gratefull for, don't get me wrong...) I know the AGORA has tapes they keep from way back then, from EVERY broadcast from back in those days, of everybody that played the "Old AGORA stage ", so it possible that is what i heard on 'MMS...
