I got into IIM-B last year 2022. It's been a mind-boggling journey full of ups and down. Although I was pretty stubborn about self-study approach only, but at a certain point I realized the need of having a properly-curated study material. So, for that purpose I joined a coaching near my residence in Pune. But as I started with the classes, everything apparently turned out to be an eye-opener to me. I came to know that I had been approaching the concepts in a wrong way. The classes became something that I couldn't afford to miss out on at that point. Hello, I secured 94% in my SSC and 80% in my HSC, after that I had taken a One year drop to prepare for engineering entrance exams again, in the following year I secured admission to an engineering college with an entrance exam score of 93 percentile. How much will the fact that I took a drop after HSC affect my chances to secure a seat at IIMs. I would be thankful if someone might share their insights on my situation. Thank You!

Hey Jovan here I'll be preparing for CAT soon 10 th 88% 12 th 92%. Currently in first year. Didn't have the opportunity to join IITs or NITs due to family reasons. After seeing this video and compare of my past academic with her. i think, i should die, because i am not entitled to live.

I scored 9.4CGPA in my 10th grade and with two gap years I scored 64% in my 12th boards. I'm in the 1st year of my graduation. Just want to know, is there any chance of me getting a call from IIM looking upon the past academic records, considering if I score a high percentile in my CAT exam. Please, someone tell me their opinion regarding this, will be helpful

Not at all useful! Visit EG students interviews they are honest and you will be able to relate. It looks like she is just reiterating herself again and again without expression like if she had mugged it up.
