I strongly consider leveling it since its one of the rare CEs that scales to +2400 attack power)

One additional CE that I would mention is Honey Lake, aka the Yang CE from Summer V. While it might be a ways away for NA players, that CE is fucking ridiculous when used in conjunction with the burn command codes (there are currently 3 of them) since it increases the damage done to enemies by 35% (40% when MLBed) when they are burned. Having pure Attack stat and pierce invulnerability is only the cherry on top.

Damn. I was going to make a CE guide of my own, but this video already has everything I would say, exactly in the way I'd say it. It's amazing how your views on the game are so similar to mine, I absolutely love this. EDIT: Actually I think you should've mentioned non-starting charge damage CEs, both general ones (BG, HF, Victor of the Moon, Another Ending) and specific ones (Origin Bullet, Honey Lake, Burning Tale of Love), but still loved the guide.

I honestly love lvl 100 golden sumo. I use it just as much if not more than Kaleidoscope. It's a very very strong ce for general use.

Great in depth guide :) At that point I have only one lvl 100 CE and this is superscope indeed :) Well this is somewhat due to annoying way of leveling CE. For Servants we have embers we can farm at somewhat decent quantity daily, but for CE making CE Bombs from summonable low rarity CEs is more time consuming than anything else. I must also admit that getting 5 copies of Scope really is pain in the butt. And indeed, rolling on banners with no CE rateup like Shuten/Raikou (the one before Gilfest 2020) or this oh-so-hated story banner can make getting MLB Scope dream more possible. As for other CEs, it would be good if we have some way to get missed events CEs (aside from those Valentines CEs presented in Rare Prism Shop). I personally missed one HNS and so I am permanently stuck with non limit broken one. I also would like to get Golden Sumo :) Poster Girl would also make my life (and challenge quests) a lot easier ;) But this CE was summonable so IDK if there are some chances of getting it. Most welfare CEs has drop-based acquisition problem. There are 4 copies in the shop, and last copy you need to drop from free quests, and sometimes this can be sooo hard. I for example had this issue with this year Valentines Beautiful Dreamer where I literally cleared whole shop and still didn't have 5-th copy of that CE. In the end I did managed to MLB it, but it was far from nice experience. Bodhisattva CE: I was once doing experiments with Arash and his overcharge effect, and strangely enough he still did more damage with lvl 20 Scope than with lvl 20 Bodhisattva. Despite his Overvharge effect... The difference is not huge but still in favor of Scope. Aside from Dragon Meridian the one 3* CE I use quite often is Jeweled Sword Zelretch. It has nice 40% starting charge (MLB) but also boosts NP generation rate and it has low party cost - very good F2P counterpart of Magical Girl of Sapphire. End note: I am a little perplexed that nearly no one puts lvl 1 Georgios or Leonidas on his support lists. I mean yeah, having strong Rider as support can be beneficial, but sometimes you just want to solo something with Cu, and... well good luck with finding someone crazy like me, who actually have lvl 1 Georgios with his Bond CE on support list :)

I always thought Sapphire Magical Girl was weak but now that I have an MLB copy of it, I am considering leveling it up because I'll probably use it a lot.

Always nice to get more perspective on things like this. I already have a copy of Sumo and HNS leveled to 100 with Sapphire and Royal Icing maxed too. I'm not sure who I'll bomb to 100 come 4th Ani, but I have 5.5mil FP to burn minimum round then so I'll be able to figure it out. If I get another copy of BG (I'm one away from MLB) that's an instabomb, but I'm torn between doing AD and saving a bomb for Traces of Xmas later in the year, assuming I can only bomb 2 after Ani. I also really want to be able to bomb my other copies of HNS, a second AD, and Sumo plus the Suzuka CE and, assuming I lucksack 3 Scopes, an MLB Scope. Gonna take ages to get there though.

I think you missed out in detailing on how people should in actuality figure out the pros and cons of similiar ce's which u stated at first.It's more of a a best present and forthcoming ce showcase video. Maybe take three different situations and three servants which specialise in buster,quick and arts and iterate their performance based on the ce's which boost their np,atk ,np gain etc An example would be Fujino and differentiate her performance when equiped with hns vs Ae vs GS.

Just wanted to offer a tip for any new-ish free to play players. Don't feel bad investing in a "suboptimal" or "non-meta" welfare CE that fits your units. My first CE I invested in seriously to get to level 100 was An Oni in Human Clothing. I had just joined the game a few months prior to it coming out in the setsubun rerun, and one of my first top tier gold units was Lancelot Saber from a spook. I loved his playstyle and wanted a 50% CE to be able to pair him up with a support Merlin to NP turn 1 and crit like crazy for several turns. It worked very well for me, and I still use that CE quite a bit. It's comparable to Holy Night Supper, but fits better with units that are a bit more face-card crit heavy and have decent numbers of card hits that can help you crit more consistently. If you see a welfare CE you like that fits what you're going for with units you have, don't be afraid of investing in it. Even if it's not a popular one to invest in. That being said, don't try to invest in every decent CE you get, as there is going to be a limit on how many CE bombs you can get each year to level them. Definitely do what he suggested and use friend points during opportune times for CE bombs to maximize what you can build. But, if you have limited options and it would make a pretty big difference for your team right now, go ahead and invest in 1 or 2.

Wow thanks alot for advice, since i got np2 dantes and a skaldi i thought my first ce to max out will be 'one summer' but apparently it gives only hp.... What really sucks is that i don't have merlin, therefore buster memes are not very like by me.

as a new player, currently playing Camelot and having too many 4/5 servants and CEs this is just hell... too much stuff to level up, too little stamina to do that, and to many materials to farm up so I can level up and ascend my servants and skills, damn this game is hard af, and most of the usefull CEs you say here, like kaleidoscope I have it stuck at lvl 20, since I'm not a P2W player, and can't LB it D:

Leveling up a taunt CE might not be good if it has any HP stat. Half of the time you want whoever equipping it to die as fast as possible. The extra HP can be a problem.

I would say "if you can MLB KSCope, MLB KScope. I only just got that option a few months back (yes, it took me that long since launch), and what I have been able to do with it is night and day compared to having several non-MLB ones. Yes, there have been times when having an extra 80% NP to slot would be nice, but not remotely as nice as not needing any batteries first turn. So if you have 4 or less KScopes, keep them, but as soon as you get your 5th, MLB that thing. Just make sure you also have an MLB Imaginary Number, you should have pulled enough to make 2-3 of those by this point. They are not _quite_ as good as a basic KScope, but you're only off by 5%, so Karna's 25% charge? Good enough. Anyone with 30? Good enough. Anything that gives you 20 + anything that gives you 10 (like half the Codes or one Waver buff), plenty. Imaginary Numbers should be fine on secondary options.

Since Ce-leveling does take quite alot ofother Ce's, my mid-step is usually level 50 until i have a decent variety for Buster, Quick, Arts and mixed. (Still looking for a decent Quick+Arts one) Then i can push them up to level 100. (Yay for strong Event-Ce's. so even F2P-players like me can get some nice damage from them)

People say that MLB k-scope is a very tricky thing to have. Meanwhile i have 1 MLB and 2 extra copies while being a FP2 and playing for 3 years

Black Grail and Heaven's feel should be leveled after KScope if you are not whale player. These 2 CEs are not following the general CE balance sheet due to early game design flaws. Which cause their damage output is simply wayyyyy out perform any CE in this game.

Wish i could've tried harder to get Jalter's outfit and max out the CEs from that event... Work was super busy when that event was going on, and all i REALLY managed to do was roll Jalter and 1 Maiden Leading Chaldea and the Jalter Essence from the event.

I wish we could sort the craft essence by effect. So we can show which ones boost the NP meter which ones increase clinical strength.

After getting black grial mlb I can't look at any other ce for damage anymore. It's so powerful I can nuke so many enemies without much issues. Then I got Merlin and Tamamo. Other ones I raised and use are irisviel Halloween ce for np damage. Golden sumo for card damage Gimmick ce I love is the altera ce as it's a 50 Percent charge with a anti inval Peirce making it a mandatory raise that is very good. Prisma cosmos and kscope I don't have mlb but it's still great for use anyways. 2030 for crit teams and golden catches the carp for crit stars as well. Basically I know what ce to raise and have little use for many other ones myself

I was pretty salty that we only got one chance to get copies of Paradox Ace Killer as I only managed to get four copies of it and it only appeared in the Prisma Illya re-run. It's the quick equivalent of Kaleid Ruby and Kaleid Sapphire which give 15% effectiveness to their respective face cards (buster for ruby and arts for sapphire) and 10% np damage and only scale their attack as they level up. Notably the arts side also got Kill on Sight, which gives 10% arts card effectiveness and 20% np damage but scales both attack and hp as it levels. I don't think either buster or quick got equivalents to that card.

Funny you made a ce video when I was debating something. I Lvl 100 royal icycing but felt like I should feed it to something (example MLB black grail) because I wasn't really using it. Not sure ill be able to get into the future arts meta, as a mostly f2p. I could get the ce back during the rerun.

Can't wait for the NY Musashi CE. Going to try to MLB it, but also want NP1 Yang at the very least. Have her NP2 on JP and god, I love her. Is Chocolate Heaven (Kama CE) from next valentine's banner a good CE choice for NP3 Kama? Or will Traces of Christmas be good enough? I don't want Nintendo Switch-chan, but reallllllly like Kama's CE.

13:39 I put both 2030CE on my Merlin and Waver with Holmes as my DPS . Merlin makes only 5stars on 5 turn with his NP and 10stars on OC lvl 200 , that would be hard to crit with your DPS with lack of stars . Im a star per turn Hoarder , I get stars so I can Punch Harder
