Hi and welcome! My name is Melanie and I love crocheting plushies. Today I get to bring you along to one of my craft markets! In this video I show my display and provide a recap of how the craft market went. It was super hot but super successful! By sharing my experience and what I've learned to improve on for next time, I hope this video gives some helpful tips to anyone looking to be a vendor at their own local markets - let me know what you think!

Thank you for the rain clips, it's so calming to hear and see it. You absolutely should price your work and art how you want to. Like you said, your customers will pay what you say your time and effort are worth. I really hope I can purchase one or more of your amigurumis in the future!

The ones saying the price is too high basically hinting you should bring the price down for them! Good on you for sticking to your pricing because your labor, Time, materials, and most of all your skill demands the higher price! It’s handmade and not mass made! It’s all about finding the target market, people that value handmade items and are willing to pay the price just like those that pay the high prices for a name brand handbag that ARE mass produced, like LV, Gucci, and the like!

As a fellow crocheter, I thought your prices were great! I actually thought your jumbo plushies were priced a little low. Especially that huge pink bunny with the ruffled skirt and hat. I know that took you forever to make!

Omg! you have so much cuuute stuff im dying!🥰🥰 Can totally relate to people commenting on prices. But i find that the people that usually comment negative as in they think its expensive it's either dads or teenage girls, and i guess most of them don't really know how much time and effort we put into making theese plushies(and material cost). It can be really hard and annoying some times, specially if i feel insecure about myself. But i try to remember that i priced my stuff for that reason, and if someone doesnt like it, well their loss 😝 I think your stuff are super adorable, and can't wait to see future videoes! 🥰

i get the same looks & comments abt my higher priced items, & those same people will pitch me a price that’s $10-$1 lower than what they’re priced for. i used to feel guilty for not meeting them halfway in the beginning but i’ve stuck to my original pricing & more likely than not they usually end up buying it for full price after a few seconds. it’s a pattern i see every time i sell.

The rude negative comment is their TRAUMA...They are still stuck in Grade/Mid School.... not even kidding , thats according to my sister she's a practicing Psychologist
