thank you. so neat and tidy. storage is something that is so tricky! what works for one doesn't always work for all

For your back wall you could get ikea pegboards and the brackets that attach to the counter rather than the wall. If you do get them I’d recommend putting cable ties in between them to help stay together.

I just finished putting my stamps and dies and embossing folders into clear plastic pockets/envelopes. For the stamps I laminated a card with the picture of the stamps on one side and the stamps stick to the other side and then that goes into a clear plastic envelope. The envelopes are stored like yours in clear plastic bins with the smaller ones in their own and larger ones in another. So far it’s awesome. Everything being the same size in each bin makes it so easy to flip through. And very importantly, I used the picture from the packaging when it was available (most of them) so I didn’t actually need to stamp out many pictures. And I have tons. I’m in love with this system. The embossing folders and dies similarly have their own envelopes. Now I can see and use everything. Great luck to you!💕

its great being organised isn't it! I find the only problem is that everything is so tidy and looks so good I don't want to mess it all up! lol

Great space. Enjoy. You can get a tool that detects where pipes are in a wall. Not sure if Bunnings have them? Worth a look, otherwise a plumber should have one. Love your dog. So very cute. 😊

thanks Maxine. Yes we have one of those tools but our pipes are plastic so the tool doesn't register . Cooper is my little shadow :) Love him to bits

@@josimons9765 oh that’s such a shame. Well my last suggestion is to make a frame so that the height is above the plumbing, anchor it at the top with screws and at the side and bottom just secure with strong Velcro or double sided tape. If the bottom is sitting on the desk top there will be no heavy weight. Then the peg board would be mounted to the frame. I have pegboard above my desk and it is so very useful.

Beautiful room! My setup is similar to yours. You could sit an IKEA Kallax unit (whatever size you need) on top of your setup on back wall. It would reduce the depth of your workspace but would provide tons more storage. I store my stamps in mine along with most everything else.

thank you! Thats a great idea! Plus means I will have more room for future goodies too ;)

You can buy a water/electric finder for your walls, it's just a small gadget that you hold against sections of your walls that you want to drill into and it gives you a high pitched noise if there is any pipes etc behind that section
@josimons97655 ай бұрын
yep thats right Tanya but the problem is it only works with pipes that are metal. Unfortunately our pipes are plastic so the machine won't register the pipes

Jo, thank you so much for sharing your lovely creative space. It’s so clean and organized. Your tutorials have given me so much inspiration and for that I thank you. You mentioned crocheting - I haven’t crochet in so many years. Guess I’ll be looking into that as well.

I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos! I started crochet about 4 years ago and I love it. I love that I can pick up a ball of yarn and a hook and not need anything else.

Looks so great Jo! Good job. I’m glad you mentioned the feelings of guilt and overwhelmed situation as I can relate❤️ Did you make your own file dividers? I really need to do that.
@josimons97655 ай бұрын
thank you! Nice to know that I'm not alone in the whole being overwhelmed and feeling guilt for not using them. Never feel guilty buying them its later when they sit unused. Yep I did make my own dividers. Just a piece of paper that I laminated

Why not try the 3M Command hanging strips for the back of a pegboard/whatever you want to put on your wall? Just make sure to use enough for the weight of the item.
