Hi everyone. This is just a day in the life of my ADHD & trying to get organised.
I'm hoping to continue the struggle to eventually have a craft room to work in, with everything I need within sight, to enable completion of anything I attemp.
Here's hoping.
If you can relate or know someone struggling with ADHD, OCD, or mental health, please share this video. At the end is some helpful suggestions.
thankyou for watching 🙏🌷🌞. Please consider subscribing, and click that like button. It will help KZfaq to also share my videos

I have ADD too and was diagnosed as an adult. So I finally have a name and it ain't "stupid!" smile! Have you watched my video about SPOTS? Your craft room looks like it is coming together. You've got more spots for things. It's really helpful to have shelving I think, however, I wonder how much of your dissatisfaction comes from procrastination, perfection, or thinking you haven't accomplished anything? You can tell your son that moving things around is part of being female. We're nesters and our homes tend to be our pride and joy! smile! One of my coping skills is making lists and checking them off when I've completed a job. Makes me feel as though I'm accomplishing something and not just spinning my wheels. If it would be helpful for you, label your shelves and baskets in BIG letters so that you can see it across the room. Hang a cardboard sign like the stores do above the shelves with an arrow pointing towards it. I've got one in my kitchen pantry labeled "FREEDOM DIET" that tells the guys the top two shelves are for my food and don't be putting their junk on them or they are gonna hear from me about it! Set a timer and work for 15 minutes or so, if that's all the time you've got to work, then add those minutes to a list. Little by little you will get it done. I know that, for me, anyway, I have to push myself to keep at it when my natural inclination is to fly away and do something else that comes to mind. I keep a pad of paper nearby and when I think of something that I must do, then I add it to the notebook and keep doing what I set out to do for the 15 or so minutes. Then after the timer goes off, I'm free to go on to the next task in the notebook. In your next video, can you show us a project where you are using one of the stencils I sent you? I would really like to see that. Have a great week! ❤
