Hi Guys,
It’s been a minute since the last time I’ve made some type of folio. So today I decided to try making my own flip flop folio. This is a little longer of a video than normal so sit back, relax and grab your favorite drink and enjoy this project. I will supply the list of items I used down below.
Measurements for this project:
Time Cards: 8 1/4 x 3 1/4 (x4)
Front Flap: 8 x 4
Side Pockets: 3 1/4 x 2 3/4 (x2)
Faux Tab Pockets: 3 5/8 x 2 3/4 (x3)
Elastic Cross Flaps: 3 1/4 x 2 3/4 (x2)
Twine Flaps: 3 1/8 x 1 3/4 (x2)

I can't believe I missed this video 4 months ago! I absolutely LOVE this project, Maggie. It's such a neat make and so versatile. I'll be honest, though, I nearly had an anxiety attack when you almost cut the stretchy string when you were tying it around those eyelets 😆😅🤣I actually gasped and shouted NO lol! I might get a little too involved in crafting videos. I'm like my mom back when she was watching her soap operas. Anyhow, I'm definitely giving this folio a try. SO CUTE!

I really like the simplicity of this compared to fussy journals with lace and junk overkill. Thanks for the tape technique, it's so useful.

It turned out great, Maggie! I love how you embellished all the pages and I like the idea of the 'faux tabs' which are part of the pockets.

Miss Maggie, absolutely amazing how it turned out. Wonderfully done. I like that it is grungy and kind of like the Timmy Holtz look. Any more you have to make your own stuff because he doesn't make the 12 x 12 paper anymore. I love your project and hope I can try and copy it sort of. Great tutorial Maggie, just a hint for you if you wipe your scissors or mat with nail polish remover it removes the sticky residue. Crafty hugs Jacqui 💖

I love this so much and you are so talented. I am about to ask a question that may sound rude but it is more that I am naive about a few paper crafts. So what do we do with the tickets and stuff? Or it is supposed to be used as ephemera for a happy mail item. I love paper crafting but I also want to craft for a purpose so what would this be used for. PS I am making or at least going to try to make one this week 😊. Thanks for ANY advice
