The Grinch cake topper! You guys have been eagerly awaiting this mischievous cake topper tutorial, just in time for Christmas! I will also link my Grinch face cake tutorial below for those of you that want to give the cake version a try! Which do you prefer, the topper or the cake? Comment below!
As the Grinch is one of my all time favourite Christmas movies, I really wanted to have a go at making him and I couldn’t resist creating him as his younger self in the film. So here is a look at how I made an edible version of him. Please excuse the messiness of my kitchen in the back ground lol.
Below is also list of everything I have used to make him (I’ve linked to my shop on my website, but you can get any of these products elsewhere).
o Saracino modelling paste in light green. (I also use a tiny amount in white and black)

o Edible food dusts (I use fractal dusts in citrus green, Ivy green, black and grass green, rainbow dust white)

o Dusting brush (mine is a Silvia Mancini dusting brush SF4)

o Rice Krispie treats (an equal amount of rice krispies and melted marshmallows mixed togther)
o I made him on a polystyrene dummy to hold him up whilst working on him

o A ball tool for creating his eye sockets (I used the FMM one)
