Just a tip about the fine-tipped applicators - when you're done using them, if you bang the bottom of the bottle on the table a couple times, then, with the bottle in an upright position, squeeze it until it "burps" out the little bit of glue that's still in the neck, wipe off the tip with a baby wipe, and replace the cap - gently (don't push it too far down - that creates another problem), that should alleviate the clogging problem. thank you. It builds up in the cap when I'm in a hurry. Wiping the nozzle before putting the cap on would be very helpful

Thank you for that information, Lolly! I haven't had a glue bottle yet that hasn't plugged up. I can't tell you how many fine-tip bottles I've been through. I will be trying all of your tips!

Thank you Lolly good tips. The only thing is, if I have to do this every time I want to use my glue bottles, which is often and then every time afterwards, it becomes quite a chore. You would have thought that someone would have come up with a more user friendly way, or is it that the glue is too thick for these little bottles? Best wishes Jo xx

I've had the same issue with thinner glues as well. We crafters want a fine tip, but one that doesn't plug

What about unplugging e6000 glue bottles?

I don't have them "plug" up on me -- I just get a build up around the nozzle, getting it hard to remove the cap. I take pliers and grab the glue mass and pull it off.

@@LollyPaloozaone way to keep these type of tubes from glueing themselves together in the first is to put Vaseline on the threads of the lid and tube. The glue won't stick to the "greasy substance" and you will always be able to unscrew the cap.
